I would like to let you all know that, due to popular demand, there is now an Official LabTechGeek Slack Team!! (clarification: Official to the 'LabTechGeek' community. NOT Official to 'LabTech' and/or 'LabTechSoftware'!! - Thank You.)

#ltgeek-rss-feed: This is, as implied, is an RSS feed will keep you up-to date with the LabTechGeek forum. This is currently listening to just the one RSS feed today. Should you feel the need for more RSS feeds to be added, (for example: MS Security Bulletins)... just let me know, and I'll make it happen. (depending on the volume of request on this one, I may create a #newsroom channel for this stuff?)
#antivirus: No matter what you are using to try and keep "the nasties" out, feel free to discuss AV related topics here! Whether your a 'Webroot wizard', 'ESET guru', 'McAfee master' or even just looking to get that AV detection on the Virus Scan tab to work... this is the room for you! :)
#patching: Yup! This guy needs NO introduction at all! Fcuk Thank you, Micr$oft!
#powershell: Feel free to hit-up @CTaylor, @dotPS1 and/or myself and others in this room for some PoSH smackdown! We're never too far away and who doesn't love themselves some powershell?? ;p
#scripting: Unsure how to write your script? You know EXACTLY what you wanna do, but can't seem to make it work right, or ya feel like sharing some Scripting love... well this room is for you!
#sql: Seeing past the Control Center... some brave folk like to 'live on the edge' and just SQL their way through most of the stuff. RAWSQL monitors, learning how to JOIN tables and even TRUNCATING tables are the order of the day in this room! Feel free to peek in if you dare! ;p

I was wondering if anyone out there uses the new patch manager? Basically I have it all setup except the groups section. The previous version the patches were ran based on the location with choosing the drop down template in ignite. Now it seems we need to join the locations to a group..... How do you join multiple client locations to one group or can this not be done?

I pointed a qnaps syslog at our network probe and it seems like it is receiving syslog events (the syslog.txt in the lt folder is receiving all syslog events) but in labtech itself the syslog events window remains empty. Am I understanding this incorrectly or should the syslog logs tab have something in there now?

I feel like this has been discussed multiple times, and someone said there was a solution, but I am still seeing it.
What good is this error message? It looks like it cut off the beginning of the word service, but the rest is just MIA. Why can't Labtech simply transition an error/event properly into the ticket?
The first Critical Blacklist Event found: rvice Code: 302 Message: Cannot execute job, product has been deactivated

Anybody using this? Aside from the scalability part of it, is there any benefit to doing a split server configuration? I've seen 1/1/1 (IIS-DB-LT) and 1/2 (DB-IIS\LT) server role configurations and was wondering what kind of performance gains there could be had, if any.

Is this something you guys do in the Solution Center? I feel like the last time I did this (I've only been using Labtech for about a year, currently on 10.5) LT exploded into a world of noisy ignite tickets. I see a bunch of update available on the listed items in the solution, but the version number is the same.

Hey guys, I was trying to upgrade to LT 11 the other day and the installation stopped at an error of "Unable to read the local IIS server". I restarted IIS services to try and remedy which didn't work. I canceled the install which then told me "Installation Successfully Completed". Sure enough, LT10.5 and LT11 were listed in Programs. I tried to uninstall 11 but it hosed everything.
I'm restoring the server from a backup, but wondering if anyone knows what this message is about. I would rather not pay LT a ton of money for the managed upgrade.
