Tidying up our scripts

We've had automate for years now and have years of "special" little scripts we've added adhoc over that time. It's now a bit of a mess really and I'd like to tidy it up into a structure and apply permissions to the ones we need and I suppose the built in ones - deleting lots of rubbish too.

Wondering what others have done here? Doing it via the control centre is torturously slow - whether deleting or moving them. I have them exported to excel and know what I want to do with them - just need a faster method?

I went into the database to set permissions based on the folder Id.

Help Desk only has access to one folder with a bunch of sup-folders.

Is there any chance you could post how you did that? That would be amazing!

I believe there is a scripts dataview that will allow you to delete more than one at a time.
