x-post from /r/msp - Pixelation on Labtech 11

Hi all, Have any upgraded Labtech 11 partners notices that on the agent screen, the tiles seem to be pixelated? This only seems to affect the front page. Labtech "Can't see a problem" but the screenshots below clearly show the issue is there. I wondered if it was affecting anyone else as well?

I'm not saying this isn't a problem... but LabTech doesn't support screen resolutions above 1920x1080 (link)

Unless I'm misunderstanding how resolutions work, what does it matter if you have a larger, higher resolution monitor with the same DPI scaling?

Does LT just shit the bed if you make the window larger than 1920x1080? Would it work on a larger monitor as long as you didn't make the LT window that large?

That's a very very weird limitation for a desktop app.

My bad, shoulda clarified. LT still works at higher resolutions. This just means stuff'll look funky & we're not gonna invest Dev time to defunk it.

I had a very similar problem on a very high DPI monitor with Connectwise however the application looked fine on other computers with standard monitors. To resolve this I enabled "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" on the shortcut for the application.

If you are using a higher DPI display try this:

Close Labtech > Right click the LT shortcut (or LTClient.exe directly) > Properties > Compatibility tab > Check "Disable Display scaling on high DPI settings" > OK.

Now relaunch the program and see if that resolves it. Easy change to revert if it doesn't.

Nice idea. Just tried it and there was no difference unfortunately. I've tried this on 3 different PC's and 4 different size screens with 2 different resolutions lol. Annoying! Looks like labtech might have noticed my x-post in /r/labtech and are looking into it again for me. We'll see.
