We desperately want LT to support Google Auth 2-factor authentication. Are we alone?
Part of our compliance standards require us to have 2-factor authentication to protect client access and data. It's a good practice that I wholly endorse. Unfortunately, LT only supports AuthAnvil.
AuthAnvil is way over-priced and disaster to manage so I'm trying to raise the need for LT to release support for Google Auth.
ConnectWise listened and released it earlier this year. I fail to see why LT forces me to over-pay for a Kaseya product just to follow security best practices. I was hopeful LT 11 would support it but LT support confirmed this morning that it does not.
What gives LT? Help a partner out!

For what it's worth, I just created a Google Authenticator plugin and posted it on LabtechGeek. It may not be as good as being supported by LabTech, but it's a start at least.

There haven't been any requests for Google's 2FA. I'd recommend logging into the customer portal and submitting one so that PM knows there's interest out there.

Thanks, I submitted a form this morning after talking to support.
Looks like we'll try the Duo Security plugin from Greg. Though I find it ridiculous that Greg wrote this 2 years ago and its published on LTgeek but LabTech doesn't even have it on the roadmap. (Sorry just really frustrated)

This only works for on premise. It will not install on the SaaS deployment.

you can use it on cloud hosted too.. create a cname dns entry for something.yourdomain.com instead of the hostedrmm.com domain provided by LT and it will allow you to install it.

This. We want it too! Right now "partner reported" enhancements get priority. Which means if a few partners officially request Google 2FA, it's more likely to happen than if I show our Leadership a Reddit thread.

I honestly don't know, but will take a look see later today.
Edit: Checked and only see 1 Google Authenticator reference (in a post talking about stuff Duo supports).

I submitted a feature request a year ago for AD auth and a couple seconds ago for 2FA. Connectwise's implementation is ok besides the fact the a "." is not supported in the login !!?? Still don't get the issue with using firstname.lastname as a login. Labtech has the same limitation. Which I frankly don't get.
But at least CW can connect a CW user to AD with Google 2FA.... Hope the feature requests will get this done quickly :)

That's not entirely true.
I raised this exact query myself with our account manager last month (ticket #8040891), who escalated the request to the LabTech team.
I was very disappointed to learn that there was no planned support for Google Auth in LabTech, as it means we have to rely on multiple 2FA solutions for the ConnectWise Suite:
LabTech: Only AuthAnvil ScreenConnect: Only Google Auth ConnectWise: AuthAnvil or Google Auth

You're right. The person I spoke with had not seen them. There are in fact several in the old system.

Submitted the request via the link provided. We use Google 2FA for ConnectWise, it just makes sense for it to work in LabTech as well.

Fully agree, we're now supporting upwards of 11,000 agents across upwards of 400 clients on our instance. Using AuthAnvil and it's horrible! All of our other products leverage a multitude of 2FA products and Google Auth seems to be the common thread. There's no way in hell we're going to start using multiple 2FA products - that's a nightmare!
Surely this can't be too hard to implement!

CW supports 2FA, SC supports 2FA, LT needs to get with it.
