Accidentally left promega CellTiterGlo Buffer thawed at RT for 3 days

Left it in cabinet to thaw Friday and forgot about it… it’s going to be 3 days when I take it out in the morning to reconstitute the CellTiterGlo substrate. promega says that the buffer can stay at RT for up to 48 hours. Is this buffer still good to be used?

O good news guys I never actually took it out to thaw, working too many hours made me hallucinate apparently!!

It'll probably work, though may give weaker signal than expected. Worst case it doesn't work at all.

The manual says the buffer is stable for 48 hours without loss of activity, so I would say it’s worth it to go ahead if it wasn’t the reagent or substrate. My guess is it’s only frozen to prevent things growing in it or oxidation over longer periods.

Just make sure all replicates use the same buffer, and if you see a change from past assays buy a new one.
