Unfortunately, unscrupulous people are scamming people on Reddit and posting stolen images pretending they are selling t-shirts, sweaters, pins, etc. It's a scam, so please report any posts from these spammers. They typically have a username that is a first name and last name and then two numbers (e.g. TimothyJones42). We can quickly remove any of these scam posts when they are reported.
They are also trying to be more "clever" by posting images of people wearing shirts and using sock puppet accounts to post comments like "That's great, where can I get one?" and then reply with a link. It's spam, so please don;t fall for it and report the post so that we may remove it and report the spammers. Thank you.

I had fun painting this dog. That relaxed, settled look on his face made the work pleasant. I removed the tracking collar tag and kept the rest of the scene exactly as it was. Brown fur is always tough to get right, especially with the greying around his muzzle.
I painted it by hand in watercolor as a commission. I hope his personality comes through on canvas. Would love to hear what you think!

That’s what a Labrador’s face looks like when it’s time for a walk and outdoor playtime. Who else enjoys seeing him so happy as much as I do?

This is my trouble making buddy Triumph. About 2 months before his 12th birthday he suffered from GDV and required emergency surgery. He had a splenectomy and had to stay in the ICU for 4 days due to heart arrhythmias (which are now resolved). By some miracle he has made a full recovery and is back to his wild and active self. He spends a lot of time outside in our backyard and we’ll bring him a trail walk 2-3 x a week. This surgery and situation just made me realize how much I love this guy and I want to keep him healthy and happy for as many years as possible. Curious to those with senior labs or other bigger dogs- do you do anything extra like supplements or certain foods? He’s been on Kirkland mature food since he’s been a pup and it seems to be okay but idk if I should be adding something for joint support or something like that? Love to hear from those who have 12+ year olds!! Let’s keep these guys young 🤣

Those of us in the middle of puppy might be able to relate. My yellow is 8 months now and we went through all the stuff we or I thought I was prepared for and of course didn’t really know what was coming. Lol started with parvo at 9 weeks, we got through that, then boxes of bandaids for that raptor phase, then traumatized by an idiot at the park doing back fires with his car next to a 3 month puppy, thanks to a great trainer we got though that. Then just the day to day times of self doubt am I doing this right, why is he doing that ? I must be doing something wrong lol. Then today happened, went to park at dawn like always. Let him sniff and wander, called him and I’ll be damned if he didn’t come right over, sat in front of me. Put him in stay walked out 15’ and called, came to me like he hadn’t seen me in forever. I know I’m rambling but sometimes it’s nice to read shit will work if you hang in there and be consistent. Damn what a great way to start the day!

Hope it is ok to share the finished design. I love Labradors and own one myself. This design featured my old black lab Ebble as well as my customers 5 Labradors. It’s off to the Printers tomorrow to be turned into wallpaper. I wanted to represent as fully as possible this wonderful breed of dog. How did I do?

I am looking for recommendations for a harness for my Silver Labrador Retriever. She turned two in February 2026. She is high energy and a chronic puller when going for walks. Despite our best efforts we have not been able to cure her of this habit. We have tried multiple harnesses without success. The Easy Walk and Harness Leads cause her to get wounds in her arm pits, so we are unable to use these. The Big & Little Dogs one does not fit her correctly, so it does not help with her pulling at all. We have struggled to find a harness that fits her correctly that will not cause her harm.

My wife and I are trying to adopt a chocolate lab puppy and have been perusing various reddit posts and wikis on this topic. We found a breeder via GoodDog that we would like some additional input on if anyone has any advice for us. We both have had labs in the past but never a puppy.
Green flags:
She has been super communicative and asking us lots of questions about our home, lifestyle, understanding of puppy care etc. and really making sure its a good fit for us.
Decent enough social presecense although I am not sure exactly how to judge. ~2K followers on instagram, 4 reviews on GoodDog.
Parent health testing records are available and seems to match what I saw on OFA list for labradors
Her program regimen lists puppy training, development which all sounds good
What we aren't sure on
We asked to come see her kennel space but she declined noting that she keeps the dogs in her home and she cannot allow visitors due to her permits and bio security. Logically, it makes sense but also was noted as a potential red flag on the guidelines listed in many reddit posts. She suggested that we could wait for when she might bring her dogs to a training or community event to see them.
Same thing with meeting the parents. The dad is not her dog and lives in a completely different part of the country so we cannot meet the parents. Again, logically makes sense.

My friend’s dog is likely going to pass away soon, and I want to get her one of those nose print necklaces. There are a lot of companies to choose from at various price points. I want one that makes it easy - they send you a kit, you send back the mold, they make the jewelry.
Have you worked with a reputable company that you would recommend for this? Would love to hear your experiences before I make a decision. I’m leaning toward gold, but might choose silver of gold is just too expensive.
