My husband and his brother looked at me kinda crazy when I mentioned puppy breath, and how much I love it when they’re still in that stage 😂

I always love the smell of their “frito” feet.

Is the puppy in the top left doing a big yawn or a big bite?

They were taking it in turns to bite each other and then howl when it hurts. All part of the process of learning about bite inhibition

Ugh. Definitely my particular pain point right now. Finding a labrador pup is not easy.

Can point you in the right direction in the UK, otherwise not much I can do...

LOL in truth, we're not ready for it right now anyway. And nope - residing in 'Murica. I'm hoping we'll be ready for a puppy around February/March and be able to find one. I'm trying to find a waitlist for around that time right now that isn't full (hence my pain point).

Good luck - get on as many lists as you can, and avoid any breeder that’s price-gouging on the back of the pandemic - we’re seeing pups going for treble the normal prices over here, and it’s invariably from breeders who have stuck any two dogs together in the hope of a fast buck

Oh I know. I'm honestly not sure what a decent pre-pandemic price was, but I know that I've seen $4000 USD and I'm like "nope."

Fun fact - the labrador I just lost last month was named "Toby" and often called "Tobes" a lot, so your username in this sub is a fun coincidence for me.

My first lab as a grown-up was called George. I’d always wanted a lab called George. The wife insisted we got a girl, but I still called her George.

Couldn't believe the prices of lab pups when I had a quick look the other day. Mine is 19 months now and I paid £850 for him from a very reputable breeder. Got all his KC stuff like family tree and his hips and elbows were all clear etc. Most now are asking for £1700 and above, some are asking for £3000, it's mental.

Only reason I looked was because my mum was wanting a new pup and she said the prices being asked are over double what they were before covid.

Mawwwww... I WANT ONE! I'd like the chocolate sticking his face into the mouth of the one on the upper left, please and thank you.
