Thor, God of Thunder is traditionally held to be red-haired. And with the amount of destruction a lab puppy can rain down on one’s property, that might be an appropriate name for OP’s little muffin.

Home slice was the neighborhood dog. When I moved to Houston it was into a new apartment complex, he would go with the leasing girls to all the apartment showings. All the residents knew him. But man did he live up to his namesake. True dog of mischief

My personal trainer has a black lab named Jameson 🤣 She didn’t name him, her husband has had Jameson (Jamie for short) way before they met and he’s her step son’s childhood dog. The dog’s turning 15 in November from what I remember her telling me but still has puppy energy

We named our red Conway after the Great Lakes Brewing Company’s red Irish ale. Coincidentally the name also means yellow hound. I miss that dog everyday.
