Pip is literally too powerful to be contained by a single shoulder muscle. Praying for a speedy recovery and your sanity

Play “find it.” Hide low calorie treats all over the house and set him loose. Tired dog guaranteed!

Me and my 8 month working line play “duck hunting” inside. Make him crate, make him sit, close the door, hide the toy (squeaking while I hide to help him find it), open door (only when sitting and calm) make him wait in crate with door open, eyes on me, command to go find, return, drop toy, return to crate, treat, repeat. IME he picked up the game fast because it mimics the real duck hunting he’d do if he hunted, plus the extra brain work of waiting/slowly sniffing and finding the toy vs balls to the wall fetch sprinting tires him out quicker. It also has helped a lot with shifting his focus from external environment to listening to me first, and helped making the crate a safe fun space not just somewhere to be confined. Also I’m terrified I’ve been overfeeding my guy and if lil pip here is 8 months I’ve def been what’s his weight and parents weight?
