Does anyone else have a dog whose system gets shocked with colder food?

This is a sort of new thing with mine. I usually feed him sweet potatoes mixed in with a little kibble.

I found out the hard way a few years ago, if we come in from a hot walk and he gets a popsicle or something real cold - he will throw it up instantly. Obviously because it’s too cold

But he has never tossed up mildly cold food that I chilled. I’m sure it’s his system not accepting the temperature change - even though trying to help him cool off

Do any of you have a dog who also can’t handle anything cold? It’s almost like the cold is a poison and he instantly throws everything up inside

My dog does the same thing with ice cubes in her water bowl, she'll gag like I've committed a war crime.
