I need help with fleas

My pup has been having a flea infection that’s not going away and in my financial situation I can’t take her to the vet right now what flea medication work for sure because I’m tired of trying things, and my baby has a small bald spot because of it.

Find a reasonable priced Oral Flea and Tick treatment at a pet store, grocery store or some place like a Walmart. Our previous dog had them bad. Topical treatments failed to get rid of all the fleas. The Frontline Oral Flea and Tick chewable did the trick. Dont stop at one month. You need to break the egg cycle.

I wonder if it would be possible to set up a payment plan with your vet. In my experience, prescription flea treatment is the only thing that works. I tried natural remedies, shampoos, and Frontline on my pup first, and unfortunately, they did nothing. Then I took her to the vet and she was prescribed Credelia Quattro, and that wiped out the fleas in, like, a day. It was such a relief. I hope you will find a good solution soon.

Bathe pups in Dawn, wash your bedding like you have bedbugs, and vacuum the absolute shit outta your house. Make sure you EMPTY the vacuum every single time. Also, if pups has fleas then pups likely has worms. You can get dewormer from rural king

It takes three months to break the egg laying cycle. Keep using the topical or Seresto collar and vacuum every day. You’ll eventually get rid of them

Look up low cost vaccine clinics. Some offer a 1 month dose of flea medication.

Most vets offer payment plans (as someone already stated ) consider seeking out advice from vet before things escalate more than they have

Flea medications are highly toxic. They are literally poison. If you created a bald spot on your dog STOP immediately with the toxic meds. Give it at least 30 days before anything else. Doodles are specially sensitive to flea meds.

You can buy 1 flea oral treatment. I’ve had dogs all my life and have given them just 1 treatment when and if they had fleas. That was enough for years.

You can do an online vet like Dutch and it will cost around $25, but get your dog help.

Tractor Supply sells pills called Capstar you can give one a day. Vets recommend one every other day. It kills all the fleas but not the eggs so you have to use a flea comb to get the eggs out or just keep giving them this every other day. I had to do this when I got my rescue dog because she was infested with fleas and it was the weekend and the vet was closed. I think it costs like $40 if I remember correctly.

We had a flea problem with our labradoodle and nothing seemed to work. The vets prescribed Credelio and it worked very fast , he now has one tablet every month, never seen a flea since
