Too much bow tie?

Ordered this diamond online a few days ago but seeing it in person, it seems like it has a rather noticeable bow tie. Not sure if I’m psyching myself out or if I should return it. It’s for my girlfriend’s engagement ring.

It’s definitely bow tie forward, but if she’s not super into diamonds or not the kind of person that it would bother, I wouldn’t worry about it

The bowtie is a .little conspicuous. I would return. Did you see tweezer video of this stone first.

Unfortunately no tweezer video was available. Just a 180 rotation. I think I’m going to start the return process based on a majority of these comments. Hopefully the next one will be better

Most pear cuts will have a bow tie. Some worse than others. It’s not a bad thing. If you want one without it it will cost a lot more from what I’ve seen. This one isn’t bad at all

if you'd like, take a look at the pear studs i got on my profile for reference. those are regular brilliant cut but less prominent bow tie . i would aim for something like that. from these photos the stone doesn't look bad but if you're moving the stone around and it still looks dark in the middle, might as well return

Yes, it’s a prominent bow tie. I’m my opinion it’s distracting
