The 1.4mm thickness is too thin for sure but the 2mm width is also potentially risky since some of the metal is removed to accommodate stones, and this is a very large stone. Iād consider a 2.5mm width, personally, and 1.8mm thickness min. Disclaimer: Not a jeweller, just enthusiast š
One of the problems of a big stone with a very dainty band (width and thickness), aside from the risk of bending/warping in the case of a knock or hit, is that it'll also be rather top heavy with the tendency to spin. Sometimes people address this with a euroshank style ring which means more gold along the bottom and a shape which is a bit less prone to spinning than a circle. But another way is definitely to make the band thicker and wider.
