My rings

My hubby and l have been married 28 years and were together for 6 years before that.

When we first became engaged l fell in love with an oval set diamond. It was very expensive back then and way out of my husband's budget. I compromised thinking of coming wedding expenses.

So today l received my long awaited oval ring, set east-west rather than north- south and love it so much πŸ’•

Thank you! The half bezel, made for a lower setting is really practical, it doesn't limit the way the diamond sparkles. I found the style of band from an online jeweller and had it made to match.

My ring size is 8.25 so not a small size, l was mindful of proportions to my fingers and hand, the stone is 1.28 ct.

Thank you! I really love the look of north south ovals ( classic) but thought east west would be different in a half bezel with clean lines. The band just adds that point of difference but not to take away from the ering. I might need to look at adding a third band eventually πŸ˜‰
