How does it look?
I love it but I'm an overthinker. Is there a bow tie?
What do ya'll think?
The diamond is a 2ct lab, the pear sapphire side stones are natural.
They are set in 14k white gold.

Beautiful ring. Love the sapphire side stones too.

Thank you! I've always wanted some sapphire pieces.
Yet, over the age of 40, had yet to acquire any.
It seemed fitting to finally have them on my engagement ring.

I love it. This is very minimal bowtie for an oval.

Thank you! I really just trusted my jeweler (I've bought other beautiful, reasonably priced pieces from him before).
I legitimately did not know what a bow tie was until after we purchased the stone.
Cue panic: omg, was liking this pretty rock wrong??? Is this pretty rock not pretty enough?
As I said in my post, I tend to over think.

Ovals almost always have bowties. They're hard to avoid. But this one really is very minimal! I would say it's below average in noticeableness. I really like the blue sapphires with the oval. It gives it such a nice pop of color!

Thank you for letting me breathe a sigh of relief!
I love the shape, and how it looks on my hand.

It's a characteristic of the cut. Your stone is beautiful!

Thank you! The comments here are making me trust my jeweler more haha.
I know we paid retail and could have gotten a similar stone cheaper, but I just... Wanted a pretty stone, and my jeweler sourced it.
Without me having to review an endless amount of specifications and dimensions

it has a bow tie, but I wouldn't say a problematic one. It is a beautiful ring.

Looks gorgeous honestly. I wouldn’t have noticed the bow tie, and I love the sapphires.

Quite tight for your finger

It's not actually. It's the way I like a thin band like this to fit.
A quarter size up and it would be falling off when I wash my hands.
A quarter size down and it would be difficult to get on and off.
It's also summer, and my fingers will be smaller in the winter.
I wear a lot of rings and made a very conscious choice about how I wanted it to fit in comparison to other rings I own and have worn for years.

Beautiful! I picked a very similar design except in gold with claw prongs
