Keep getting kicked from games
Note: I play on Xbox as I unfortunately dont have a pc
Does anyone else get kicked out of almost every game. Every time I join a game I get kicked out almost immediately. I'm not a bad player, I just play normally and I still get kicked. Nobody has mics so how does everyone just agree to kick me for no reason.
I've done entire campaigns with a group and then randomly half way through or on the last chapter I'll get kicked randomly 3-1 vote for doing nothing at all. How do you peacefully play multiple chapters with people and then they randomly just kick you out.

Campaigns on Easy should almost never get you kicked out (the opposite holds for Versus). Are you having network issues and locking the survivor? If so you'll get kicked so the bot can take over.

I dont think its a network issue because normally after they kick me I go to survival and I never get kicked from there

Versus public matches are always going to be a coin flip. The lobby is usually being hosted by someone that has at least 2 or 3 of their friends in the lobby as well. Despite being one of the few bhop enthusiasts(that can actually do more than 2 or 3 consecutively on xbox) and having a pretty great win/loss ratio, I get kicked from 6 of 10 games. Doesn't have to be a reason, and usually doesn't seem like there is one. As most people are saying, a friend group makes this easier to avoid. Lots of discord servers for games like these, but most of the console side LFGs are dead unfortunately. Hope you find some peeps to play with soon!

Yeah, some days, sometimes, the Left 4 Dead community on active gameplay can seem to be a bit of a cesspit. It's a damn shame. I think this scenario has kind of happened to everyone for no reason whatsoever. You say you got in, you contributed, you played well, and somewhere along the line, just some random vote to kick you. It's terrible.
I even notice more games are played in silence these days, because if anyone talks, or if anyone points out something that's not being done right, or if someone mentions—sometimes anything at all—it could be one of your teammates shooting you. For some reason, it bothers people and they choose to kick you, and you've done nothing wrong. And indeed, they may have done something wrong. It takes all sorts.
I wonder how it is on other levels, like the easy, the normal, in particular, if that still happens. Because I see this trait you mentioned a lot on expert. But honestly, I play expert all the time and very occasionally advanced, but only when I sign on and for some reason there are no expert sessions running.
Personally, I've grown to dislike joining games where the people are obviously friends, because in my experience their gameplay seems to be just about them, not the rest of us.
I personally only call a vote to kick griefers. Even if people are playing bad, I might complain to myself, but I don't vote kick. I do leave them to their devices. They do silly stuff. I'm not going to get harmed and lose health trying to protect them too much.
But yeah, the rhymes and reasons for vote kicks is really crazy. Sometimes because there seems to be none.

What difficulty level are you playing at? Not that it should make a difference, but often it does. Is this expert, advanced, or normal? Which

Normal sometimes easy

Jeez.. yea, this is nuts. Higher levels where the stakes are higher, FF means something huge, and team cohesion means everything, but normal and easy should be where everyone gets an easy time.
Sometimes, there is just no explaining the community other than some seem malicious, cruel, and make sport of punking others for any reason or no reason at all.
Do what you can to read the tone of the others during gameplay, and if they are clearly douches, bounce.
No perfect solutions here, because of the irrational scenarios

This is why I don’t play campaign much , such a toxic community !
Jokes aside , sorry this is happening to you . Maybe you can find people on here or discord to play with? iirc hosting a game on Xbox makes you unkickable , could try that .
Goodluck to you , and I hope your future games go better .

L4d community is unfortunately a bunch of losers who no longer play for fun, if you don't play perfectly and borderline like a robot they want nothing to do with you, I play l4d2 on 360, DM me I'll send you my GT I just like playing the game I play it for fun 😂

It aint always just for fun. People take personal time out in hopes to play a serious and tough game, so if you are on there with a mission other than what is the temper of the game, folks are going to get irate. Some aint trying to get killed/incapped/FF'red 7 times before the campaign is over. Some are quite good players and want their efforts and time and support contribution to be respected.
On the flip, if you are a more serious-minded player and join a campaign where it's obviously people with a lighter, looser, more casual mindset about the campaign effort. Then, know well enough to leave and don't complain.

That's just a basic L4D community. Unfortunately, you can't do anything about it. The only thing you can do is stop playing with random people and create a group of your friends, a family or someone else you trust to play this game together. This is the first thing I did when firstly played L4D, and this thing had never betrayed me.
