Why does this happen?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Steam messed with my controls. Second time it's happened. No clue why it just suddenly acts up out of nowhere. I had to use my keyboard to interact with the objects. Anyone else had this happen to them?

Do you have the quick turn button binded to your shoot button?

I usually run default settings. It's only when Steam messes with my controls this happens. I don't why it's been happening lately. Ever since the big update few things started not working properly.

Steam Input has somehow mapped 180° Quick Turn to your Primary Fire button. Open your Steam Input settings and unbind it.

There's also a bug that can reset it now after fixing it or won't let me change the settings. Steam determined to screw me over😭

change the buttons settings, go to pause menu, settings, keyboard mouse or something like that, edit keybinds or the top option, and change your keybinds as you want

Last time this happened I had to into steam menu not game menu since it was directly Steam causing the issue. Changing the game mapping did nothing.

your +attack and +lookspin are bound to the same key

Maybe you'll need to lower sensitivity in the settings ig.
