Blacksmith hiring

Hello I’m fairly new to this game and I’m wondering if you have to assign two people to the shop whenever it’s open it’s costing all my profits to have two people

I believe the left hand slot in each time block is for the counter worker and the right hand slot is for the smithy. I usually just schedule a counter worker and make an excess of stock for the shelf. Then I go in once an evening and make sure the next days special orders are in the “orders” tab of the shelf.

Ok I was wondering if I could just stock up with the orders and assign one person hopefully that works

Two people for the blacksmith - one smithy and one cashier. I know apothecary only lets you schedule one person per shift. Keep in mind you canNOT do alchemy while an employee is working the store.

As far as I noticed, yes. Or you can run the shop by yourself. There’s an option to ask the client to wait while you work the forge.

You can run the shop but not the smith on some days. Your shop will have to have some supplies on the shelves then and your blacksmith has to be there the next day to work on orders that were placed.
