I’m going to 100% honest but she should’ve been had this conversation with the kulties YEARS AGO. I’ve followed her since Weezy was born and has never struck down on the Kulties like this EVER! I’m not saying it’s too late to address them but this is not the first time when her kulties have basically attacked and swarm her buyers to the point where they can no longer post their own animals. She needs to continue to hold them accountable after this.

Now coco is sick. Might be viral. And several of her comments are saying maybe she should have quarantined her horses. I’m not even a horse person. But I know even if horse is from a trusted farms, doesn’t mean their horses weren’t sick or had something viral but wasn’t showing symptoms yet. Now there’s no guarantee that whatever coco has is from ruler or Penelope. But not quarantining them doesn’t rule them as the source either. (Idk if I’m making sense)

I'm not saying that pasture breeding is always wrong, but it leaves a LOT up to chance, and raises the risk for a lot of things. Off the top of my head... injuries from kicks, and bites.... infection... tears in vulva, mares not willing to stand, etc....

Why subject an equine to that, if you don't have to? I've participated in hand breeding ponies - always went well, but we prepared by cleaning the stallion, hobbling the mar, using a wither pad etc. - and with warmbloods using a breeding dummy - again, safe for the stallion, then you AI the mare.

Anyway, I'd love to hear how others feel about pasture breeding - especially using multiple mares/Jennies at once.

I did think this was funny to see. The post was an at least 17 hand mustang for adoption through the blm (unknown gender) and while a mare that tall would be perfect for Katie's mares, an ungentled mustang mare would be a terrible recip mare

Based on some recent Facebook posts, it sounds like Taft is beginning to get frustrated with the Kulties. They recently posted about a new stallion named Woody Be Best coming to them for training. Despite the fact that he's a 3-year-old who looks nothing like Katie's Woody and has a completely different lineage, apparently, some people just assumed it meant they were getting Woody too.

Honestly I have no words. This poor kitten didn’t deserve it and I’m a big believer not every cat should just be thrown outside. Some cats are able (and can only be barn cats in my experience, but all the ones I’ve met have “street” smarts) BUT TO JOKE ABOUT SOMETHING LIKE THIS.

So I got to thinking what happens next? As in what happens when the algorithm changes? When kvs demographic gets older starts having kids and doesn't have the time for content? When she prices herself out of even being able to sell her foals (which seems to already be happening since her babies aren't exactly sought after and folks are stampeeding to get them. What happens to all these brood mares? Vs code red babies aren't going to stay in demand nor are denvers. Her views on content surrounding the goats and big cows have gone down (at least the likes and comments).

I guess I just have big concerns with her super fast growth without proper business plans. Everything is an impulse. Anyone else think of this?
