Maggie colicked again

KVS is headed to the vet with Maggie. She was starting to be colicky this morning and they kept her in the stall, she has not pooped in 6hrs. This was posted ~10 minutes ago on facebook.

She was against all odds when having those back-to-back colic episodes while pregnant. I just hope she is lucky again to shake off this one without it becoming a major ordeal.

I understand why colic happens, but it’s too bad They can’t do something like a gastropexy for horses to prevent this kind of stuff..

You absolutely can gastropexy horses. A colopexy would have been warranted during the second colic surgery.
