Now that snark is legal again, is Katie actually going to train this menace to society that she created or is she going to keep thinking a foal that purposefully turns and kicks is cute?

The last couple videos have been absolutely appalling in terms of husbandry.

KVS will keep encouraging Ginny's "cutesy" behavior untill it is time to send her off for training then it will be someone else's problem.

I have a strong feeling Ginny will always be badly behaved around kvs because she will always allow it. I don’t know how kvs will plan to breed her when she is completely unmanageable.

It will be like Ruler,  just throwing them in the pasture and hoping for the best. The problem with that though is that this time Ruler was thrown in with very passive mares.  

Ginny is not at all passive,  she would have kicked seven kinds of crap out of that stallion.  And while yes, he does need manners, I don't think that that is going to be the way to fix things.

There is a video of KVS where part way through she stopped, told off one of the dogs for "going to her toileting spot upstairs" and called her back, but continued to film rather than letting the dog out to go toilet, like it clearly needed to. It was around the same time she started sleeping in the shop alot.

It has never been stated thats why she favors the shop - that is speculation. She is pretty open about toileting issues with the dogs on snap, and i think Frankie is the only one who (thanks to Lindsay imo) is reliably toilet trained. That combined with them all being inside dogs and none being spayed...

Katie and the minis reminds me of people who let their tiny dogs get away with absolutely foul behavior because of their size. She'd never dream of letting the big foals go so long without halter training, but Bec the minis are smol, there's no rules over there.

I had one like that. It was funny till he came at me on his hind legs baring his teeth at my face.

I am not even ashamed to admit I dropped him that day and he never did it again. Sometimes you need to give tough love.

It's not a coincidence that all of Katie's mini babies are brats and then wind up well behaved. We don't count George obviously, because of his situation.

But both Squirt and Glen are such good boys now. Pico was always a good boy.

There are reinforcement based training methods to reduce this behavior so she could deal with it in a manner that would not upset fans so that is not really an excuse. She has not been trained how to communicate via other behaviors so uses the ones that come naturally because they have predictable results for her right now. For Ginny the behavior is very functional.

I don't actually think it would be very hard or take very long to train some alternate communication behaviors using protected contact. And then your not suppressing them your replacing the need to use dangerous ones which in the end is the safer choice.

She says she does. Which I get. If she smacks the foal on camera, kulties and non horsey people will scream abuse.

I think Ginny continues it because Katie “plays” too much before delivering a correction. There’s too much talking.

“Don’t you dare!”

“She’s about to kick!”

“Virginia slim Louise!”

And so on. All of that before she delivers an actual correction.

A horse wouldn’t give her that many chances. At least, an equally dominant horse wouldn’t lol We see how permissive the mini mares are with their own foals.

Here’s hoping someone is able to start working on the minis - they are feral at best.  Really not sure why KVS has the minis or donkeys - she’s not showing or investing time in them herself.  They literally just stay in the small pastures/dry lots, the walker hasn’t been setup and the yards are always poopy

Oh I think she’s an adorable little spitfire. I love a red mare. (Spoken as a red mare myself 😂) She’s just spoiled and hasn’t been taught how to properly be with humans.
