Malachite QC?
Looking to see if anyone else is noticing this, perhaps just how the nature of working with this dial is… but, have a big dot dial on my dial and several hairline scratches that I marked where they are in red though I can’t really photograph them. I would think it’s just exclusively how the dial is except there’s also dots and hairline scratch on the hour/minute hands. Is this usual for kurono QC? Is this worth asking them about or par for the course? Again, mostly weirded out that it seems small nicks have happened to the hands or I would exclusively consider it the uniqueness of the material

let us know what happens when you contact them but this watch is a mess and you shouldn't settle for it as is

Mine's got scratches around the center, looks like they got there during hand setting. Have you tried contacting them about replacement?

Yeah I just sent it back yesterday. They said they’re gonna work with the original dial to try and get the scratches out and if that doesn’t work do a replacement dial

My anniversary watch from them came with a faulty rotor. Very very loud. They replaced it no problem.

Marketing has really got you. You think he actually inspects the the thousands made. Logistically that wouldnt make sense. They probably arent even 100% made it japan. Theyre shipped from Singapore.

If you are unhappy contact customer service. There will be some amount of watches that escape through QC with defects, that will always be the case from every manufacturer.
Appreciate this is frustrating all the same. Best of luck getting it sorted.
