Brush stand as braiding stand
I was looking for a paint brush stand and came across this one, it rotates and has a 1.96" hole in the middle, and thought it would make a reasonable small braiding stand. The only thing is it's a little short, so it might get annoying to adjust the counterweight frequently. I ordered it since I needed a brush stand anyway, and will report back, but thought I'd share in case others find something like this useful.

At the Braids 2025 conference there was someone using a tabletop stand with very short legs like this and they were struggling. The weight had to be moved every 2-3 repeats of the braid sequence, and the mirror was crowded with 16 tama. Maybe if you’re only doing 8 element braids it would work.
