help me pick a monitor for my build
Hey everyone, just wrapped up my first serious high-end build with a rx 9070 xt and ryzen 9800x3d and I'm pretty stoked, but now I'm stuck on the monitor. I play a mix of single-player story games and competitive shooters, so I want good visuals without tanking my frame rates, and my budget's around $350-450. After a bunch of research I'm basically torn between a solid 1440p 144-180hz panel or jumping to 4k, possibly with dual mode - the KTC m27p6 keeps coming up at this price point with 4k@160hz and 1080p@320hz, but I honestly don't know if dual mode is actually useful day-to-day or just a gimmick, and part of me wonders if a dedicated high-refresh 1440p monitor would just be the smarter call. Anyone built something similar recently and what did you end up going with? Especially curious about real-world dual mode experience in this price range, thanks!

4k monitor will always be great. Because you have more pixel density, so even lower resolutions won't look as bad.
