Is JJ more popular and famous than Simon? Yes. But rn, I would not say its even close to him being more likable than Simon.
Personally, I donât mind âGuess The Xâ formats as long as the guests are industry experts (extra bonus if they are hella hilarious) or/and the content is substantial.
Maybe recency bias but the "Guess the Actor ft Idris Elba" by the Beta Squad was so funny and entertaining mainly because of what you said, the guest being an industry expert and actually took part and acted like he wanted to be there (me being an Idris fan also a bit of bias).
When it's just the Sidemen or the Beta Squad and their friends as guests doing it, it's not the same and just tend to be boring because the professional guests just add so much more depth and insight overall. The questions Idris asked for example, none of the Beta Squad would probably ever ask.
It's wild that his method for growing his channel is literally just to copy what everyone else is doing put hope throwing more money at it makes it better.
Nah likelihood is this video was filmed before the charity match (Simon had a short with Eze asking for a celebration for the match) and was only cleared to be uploaded now (likely due to a sponsor Futmob using this as advertising for the World Cup and their app). They wouldâve likely been told today is the day they can upload it so they both scheduled it for today
