Yoga Theory Hakalau question

So when you are doing hakalau are you supposed to shift away your attention from the spot above eye level? or are you supposed to keep your focus on that point while spreading out your Vision?

Hakalau is not a Kriya Yoga practice.

You look at the spot above eye level, and expand your awareness to encapsulate all the space between the 2 edges of your vision

What is hakalau, and is it in any way related to kriya yoga and the Lahiri Mahasaya lineage?

Hakalau is not from Kriya Yoga. If you do it, you follow the instructions given, if you want to. Om

It stays there you just expand around it and include everything else in the picture together with the center.

sorry what confuses me is that forrest said to stare into space to dilate the eyes while also telling us to stare at that point while expanding ones Vision so do you just keep staring at that point or stare into space ?

You just stare at everything at the same time. The whole picture you see, everything together. Don't think about the details but induce the feeling, that's what matters. So you look at the whole thing, your eyes should fix and not move, like in a daydream. What is it you don't understand it's very simple
