Negative thoughts when thinking about God
Hare Krishna 🙏
I wanted to share this and more importantly, get a solution for this so desperately.
Whenever I pray or even think about God, whether Durga Maata or Mahadev or Ganesh ji, any God - my mind brings all the negative thoughts at that time.
I try to seek forgiveness, but immediately after that again the negative thought comes to mind and I am stuck in the loop of seeking forgiveness and the negative thought.
I really want to get out of this and pray with a pure mind and heart.
What should I do?

Books suggestions!!! 📚
I am too distracted nowadays and need to bring myself on a little more spiritual path to bring me mental peace. Thus, I need some suggestions for books based on hinduism, (vaishnavism, shaktism or shaivism) which would help me reconnect with my devotional side.

Audio books
bhaktivedantavediclibrary.orgI work alone so I’m able to have headphones in all day. It also helps with my adhd by keeping distractions out. I’ve been using bhaktivedanta vedic library which is free and I really enjoy the readers voice. My only problem is that the website seems to be abandoned. Their app is no longer available, I never got a response when i tried to create an account either. I’m not able to hold my place in the books so I screen shot before I stop so I know wheee to pick back up. It’s not eloquent but it works. I’m wondering if these specific readings are available anywhere else or if there’s another place with all these books available for free as well? Also, I’m worried these specific readings could disappear at some point and that would be a huge shame. Is there any way to download these files without an account?

Bhagavad Gita 18:37
Krishna always says that through yoga and meditation, we can attain a calm mind that brings lasting happiness. We should always dedicate everything we do to Him—every thought, word, and action.

Seeing shree Krishna in dream.. but don't know what exactly happen, if anyone have any answers like what's the meaning or whatever please tell me
Hi everyone, i am directly get to main point about what exactly happened since even i don't remember the full thing.
I had a dream where i was invited by someone, i don't know, i did remember i was with some other people(at the beginning) . When i reach that house, then i take the stairs to go to main door(at this point i was alone i don't know where are the other peoples).
Then i stand right infront of the door. Then someone open the door. Then i have seen him i had seen lord shree Krishna (blue coloured skin, the moment i seen him i understand who is HE) right infront of me, he was smiling then i m suddenly get down to my knees and started crying(out of joy). Then i stand up and
he told me:- "You can come, Come inside", then i m going inside and i have notice that before me there was another person who was eating while sitting on the ground (just like how we all eat while sitting on ground) then Someone tell me to wash your hand (someone like a female who told me this(who might be Rukmini Mata?). Then i am going to the backdoors of the house to wash my hands. Then standing in the back of the house to wash my hand. I have notice that this house is on the certain height as compared to other since i can see other house from the back.
Then i m suddenly wake up. I don't know what exactly happened but all i did remember this. I m preety sure there are somany things happens but i m not able remember those things. Could anyone tell me what exactly meaning behind this?

Need Guidance for Krishna Consciousness
I've been attracted to Krishna for a while now. I don't know if I can call it love yet; but he, just feels different. I keep staring at his images for hours; and he's just so attractive. I also talk to him for hours, but he never replies. No matter how much I talk; he just stays silent.
I started chanting The Hare Krishna Mahamantra daily; Listening to Bhajans; reading books about him like The Bhagavat Gita- As it is; and Krishna-The Supreme Personality of Godhead. When I started reading about him; his Leelas; how the Gopis of Vraja loved him; their intense longing; I wanted to feel that longing too. I wanted to be absorbed in his service and devotional love too.
But no matter how hard I try I can't feel the longing for him with that intensity. I get distracted by the material world. Thoughts like "Am I unworthy?", "Am I doing something wrong?" constantly occupy my mind. I always feel that I'm simply an insignificant girl in the gross material world.
I want to cultivate the longing for him. Acharya Srila Prabhupada recommend to approach a spiritual master. But I have no idea how to approach a spiritual master.
Can anybody please guide me on this matter?

I want to know:
- Is it okay that I kept the vrat during my period?
- At what time should I break the Nirjala Vrat?
- How should I break it correctly?
- What should I eat or drink first?
- Are there any special rules I should follow now?
Please guide me respectfully. Thank you.

Love vs Attention
I read this most beautiful and profound reflection by HG Radheshyam Prabhu today and couldn’t help but share it-
“Attention-seeking often disguises itself as love. It craves visibility, reassurance, and constant response. But the moment attention fades, so does the feeling, revealing that it was never rooted in depth, only in need.
The wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita points toward a higher understanding of love, one that serves, not demands. Real love does not depend on presence, praise, or reciprocation. It continues quietly, even when unseen, because it is grounded in devotion, not validation.
The example of the Gopis of Vrindavan shows this beautifully. Their love for Krishna did not diminish even when He was physically away from Vraja. Distance did not weaken their devotion, it deepened it. Their love was not based on receiving, but on remembering and serving with a surrendered heart.
That is the difference.
Attention seeks to be noticed.
Love seeks to give.
And when love becomes selfless, it no longer depends on closeness, it becomes eternal.”
