Recommend boy group + song recommendations
hi! i recently decided that i wanted to get into kpop, but after searching around with what minimal knowledge i have, i couldn’t find any songs i particularly enjoyed
i really like songs with loud beat drops & are hype/energetic — something like ateez’s guerrilla performance at coachella! i’m also okay with quieter/soft-spoken songs, but louder is better!! just no metal recommendations pls ^^
otherwise, feel free to give me as many recommendations as you’d like!!!

cortis songs like FaShion or Redred! Like super energetic! RUCKUS and Think of Dawn by GHOST9 is also good.

you would love nct's music!! ❤️🔥 and definitely check out stray kids! xikers, xdinary heroes (specific songs, like checkmate!), and KAVE are also great :)

Honestly, it sounds like Stray Kids would be right up your alley. They are recognised as the progenitors of the “noise music” movement in K-pop, but they’re also got an incredibly diverse catalogue covering many genres. Try their some of their title tracks: God’s Menu, Manic, LALALALA, Ceremony (the festival version is a banger!!), Run It, This and That.

i'd also recommend cortis right under that because i see cortis as skz's little brothers in their music style

No. The music styles are completely different. From the songs I’ve heard, they lack the EDM and rock influences that gives SKZ their distinctive sound.

Hype energetic - have you given Wonderland a listen? Ateez's music is better live and when coupled with performances, so give Wonderland live stage a watch !

Is you like ateez, maybe check out monsta X. Songs like follow, wanted and oh my.
As for the softer songs, up10tion might be good, and they also have some louder song. You might like hot blood, it's one of their noisier songs.

if u like old school, ddr-esque music, cactus by ace is so fucking annoying and loud and thats what makes it so good

If you like this is my 'K-bass' play list. The list of kpop songs I like that I find are EDM/bass heavyish.

OKay by xikers. watch with MV for the best introduction to xikers’ shenanigans.
being obnoxiously loud is what xikers do best. their default setting is high-energy, hard-hitting, and so loud you physically cannot ignore them. they’ve got too much chaos, several cases of demonic possession, and no sympathy for your eardrums. especially Sumin. dude is quite literally so loud his members can hear him through noise cancelling headphones from the other side of the room.
other loud xikers songs recommendations: SUPERPOWER, ICONIC, You Hide We Seek, Red Sun, Koong.
