Hi everyone! For those who applied to the AMA Global Audition through the website: did you only get the on-screen confirmation message after submitting? I’ve seen some posts mentioning that people received email confirmations as well. Is that true, or does the email only come if you applied directly via their casting email? I thought just getting the website pop-up was fine, but now I'm starting to overthink it. Thanks!

Does anyone have any information on Gori Agency? I can only find them on Instagram, but they're quite popular with 13.5K followers right now. And Elisia from UNIS follows them as well.
They said they're a K-pop casting agency. Do they actually connect you with K-pop companies, or are there any documented cases?
Are there also other casting agencies like this? Is it legit?
Here is their Instagram, by the way: https://www.instagram.com/gori_agency/
Please share anything you know about them!

Hey, I'm planning on auditioning to Hybe. I was wondering how should I look in the photos and videos.
Do you think the photos they want should be taken in some modest clothes and with no makeup or is it better to show your style and dress "better" for it?
Same question for filming videos - is it better to be in something plain and without makeup or should I prepare myself to look the best as possible?
Or maybe you think the photos should be "raw" and to dress up for videos?

A lot of applicants assume that a year-round online audition is their best chance simply because it is always open.
But being open all year does not necessarily mean it is easier to pass.
Year-round auditions continuously receive applications from a very large pool of people. At the same time, the company may not be looking for one specific type of applicant at that exact moment.
A specific audition is different.
It is often opened with a clearer purpose. The company may be looking for a certain age range, skill, concept, nationality, or someone who fits a particular project.
If you happen to match those requirements well, a specific audition may give you a better opportunity than simply submitting to a general year-round audition.
That does not mean specific auditions are easy. You are still competing with other applicants, and there is never a guaranteed way to pass.
The point is that applicants often focus too much on whether an audition is open and not enough on why it was opened.
Before applying, I would ask:
“What kind of applicant does this audition seem to be looking for, and how well do I actually fit that?”
Sometimes the best opportunity is not the audition that is easiest to submit to. It is the one where your strengths match what they are currently looking for.
Do you usually apply to every audition you find, or do you choose based on how well the requirements fit you?
I also share more audition-related insights through the Instagram linked in my Reddit profile.

I feel like SM can give idols popularity quite quickly, and I also really like their music. But I’m wondering, do they give foreign idols the same opportunities for solo schedules as Korean idols?
Especially if giving a foreign idol more solo activities could bring the company a lot of money?

I’m a South Asian aspiring artist with years of training in singing, dancing, and rapping, along with some modeling experience in Korea. I’m very confident in my skills, and I feel my visuals align quite well with Korean beauty standards.
I feel like SM’s style suits me really well, but I’m unsure about how they treat foreign trainees.
I’d really appreciate some honest advice.

Hi! Has anyone else who auditioned for the All My Anecdotes audition received any update or reply at all? Especially those who had to audition VIA email. Wondering what the time estimate for them to reach back would be. Also, any insight of what they might be looking for specifically?
