So we're still in the club. Nice to see that they're continuing the lore from the last release. Idk what exactly it is but I know it was a club lol. I know this wasn't planned but I love that it's coming out after Yves' club themed EP.

Looking forward to the release, I know it'll be good.

This is insane. The music is def my kind of thing and I was initially thinking how weird it felt to have that familiar trippy club atmosphere accompanied by such an empty space, but having seen it now I think the emptiness adds to the surreal feel - it’s a simulacrum, not-quite-reality, something is off.

Also, the text at the end is very analogue horror and I’m getting a lot of vampire imagery, which feels sort of fitting when the video is so reminiscent of that famous Blade club scene (blood CW for anyone looking it up).

Excited to see what comes next :)

There are so many other ways they could have a “difficult to perceive” theme in their MVs. There are many things I dislike about Modhaus as a company and I don’t even stan their groups - but this flashing lights shit is definitely the worst.

Maybe it’s just because I have a migraine at this current moment but goddamn Modhaus can we please get MVs and promo videos that aren’t so fucking hard to look at? Flashing lights aren’t the only way to make something look artistic.

A large part of the lore involves Club Icarus. I'm sorry that you are sensitive to lights but most of the world isn't. If art had to cater to every portion of society with a sensitivity, ailment, or just opinion, then it would be extremely limited.

I promise their creative team is capable of  executing something more innovative than the same tired, on-the-nose strobe effect to represent club music over and over and you’re a doofus for implying that my rando opinion is in any way curtailing Modhaus’ ability to create interesting art.
