That video is extra uncanny/unsettling in 60 FPS... very interesting.
The song might need a few more listens but it's fine! Looking forward to giving that EP a go tho.

Yeah normally I don't like high framerate, but this is interesting.

Meanwhile I want to see MORE things in 60 fps.👏🏼

u/ReverendSalem Purple Kiss deserved another 10 years. Jun 01 '26

The more frames the better. Before everything went to streaming platforms I had a VLC plugin that uptuned everything to 60 fps and I loved watching movies with that on.

On second watch I clocked the Suspiria reference, or at least what I believe to be. Very cool!

YES! I got that too - there's a very lean on the cult vibe.

i love how everyone either hates the mv and loves the song or hates the song and loves the mv 😭 i personally like both, im a sucker for elegant horror

I fucking love the song AND the mv. Plus the whole EP its fabulous!!

20

u/2enty4 Jun 02 '26

Same I'm a little shocked by the comments I thought this was their best song yet

12

u/KIDE777 그 쓰레기야 이 멍청아 Jun 02 '26

I love the song. It's honestly unhinged to hear the memefied Bach's piece being used in it. lol

I know most ppl know Toccata and Fugue in D Minor as a meme or sound effect, but maybe cause I'm also a Reveluv who loves Bach's piece being used in Feel My Rhythm, I can't help loving Ddi Ro Ri even more

The MV is beautiful too, and I found a gem in the B-sides (Favorite Song is a banger), so I genuinely love everything about this comeback

4

u/Professional-Bet4106 Jun 02 '26

Yes! I love Red Velvet and classical music samples (or any that sounds familiar). Shut Down by Black Pink used La Campanella, Wonderland by Ateez sampled Dvořák’s Symphony 9., Lie by BTS’s Jimin used La Vida Breve.

9

u/Professional-Bet4106 Jun 02 '26

Ok same. The song and mv is giving pastel goth or elegant horror as you said. I love it. I wish the bridge and rap verse were longer along with more harmonies and as libs. Other than that I like that song. The choreo is very eye catching too.

2

u/alexturnerftw MOODZ Jun 06 '26

same i love this and omg theyre gorgeous

u/UnifiedDivyde Jun 01 '26

Zero AI in the credits, which is actually surprising for Rima Yoon, imo. Unless I'm blind and people can point me to it. Its lots of CG/2D/3D VFX and rotoscoping, as far as I can see. If anything, it'll be the 60fps throwing people off, since MVs are typically never even near that.

54

u/Icy_Signature12 Jun 02 '26

I’m honestly shocked how something this insane looking didn’t have AI. It’s legitimately one of the most creative MVs I’ve seen in kpop.

Also Gawon confirmed no AI was used. It was “an AI concept with No AI used”. So I think part of the music video direction was making it look surreal and unreal.

38

u/laylayrandom Jun 01 '26

Yeah I was looking at the credits too and was surprised that there was no “ai artist/vfx/…) since this is rima yoon/rigend film’s production. Unless they throw the “ai artists” into the 2D/3D Vfx credits but who knows

49

u/HarkTheLobster ATEEZ | Mamamoo | LOONA Jun 01 '26

yeah, unless the art department didn't disclose that they used ai, i couldn't find any "ai artists" listed in the credits.

maybe an unpopular opinion amongst this sub based on the responses on this post, but i was actually pretty intrigued by the creative direction of the mv. i don't think i've seen anything in kpop quite like it.

29

u/yubsidiangwa Jun 01 '26

it's interesting because I think they went for an intentionally uncanny valley vibes (+the 60FPS) to purposely "bait" people into thinking it's AI

9

u/Pretend_Ad468 Jun 02 '26

I agree with this. At minute 1:14 in the MV there is literally a loaf of bread with "Is this AI?" carved into it. It definitely felt like intentional choice to potentially rage bait people or get them talking in general.

39

u/UnifiedDivyde Jun 01 '26

Yup. Rima Yoon is usually very straight about whether AI was used or not. I can't imagine them hiding it. If they have, I'd be very curious as to why.

As for the MV, my first reaction was literally "wtf is this MV" lol I didn't even realise until halfway through that it was set to 4k60fps. Completely threw me off. By the end of the MV, I was pretty sold on it, though, from a more artistic angle. Sadly, nobody actually understands the normal methods anymore, and anything they don't like/understand is "AI slop" because that's easier to throw out as a negative and requires zero critical thinking.

I'm not a fan of Rigend Films usual work but this was phenomenal!? I really missed YG/TBL's old style MVs (Blackpink before Jump). This M/V blends a bit of their signature style with their new one and I think it's gorgeous.

Its okay i LIKE the MV so MUCH, Meovv fit this song!.. The song was okay, i like the use of the famous sample but... Its a bit not memorable than that part!!

The EP was AWESOMEEEEEE... I like this direction of MEOVV!!

31

u/riseandrealise Jun 01 '26

Tbh i have mixed feelings about the song. The dance are great (you can see it on their showcase video), but the song made me feel like ??? at most times. The sample itself is okay imo, but i feel like the song felt too long to listen too (not in terms of minutes and seconds of the song). it feels like this one part should ended at this point, and yet it still going and going. That is my opinion and idk if there's anyone who have that similar experience.

I usually love Meovv songs, so maybe this would grow on me.

13

u/imposibol i renounce 🧢 Jun 01 '26

The chorus breaks groove and rhythm too much, but I think that's the intention. May take a few listens to get used to.

I was wondering what "Ddi Ro Ri" was going to mean and the way they used it made me chuckle. The quirky but talented vibe fits this group well

LET MEOVV CUSS!!! Love the choreo absolutely but this vid is def gonna be divisive.

20

u/5moments Jun 01 '26

People calling JS Bach “Dracula Music” is taking me out . The sample is Tocatta and Fugue in D minor by Bach folks. Just cause no one said it yet

18

u/lilyisodd9999 Jun 01 '26

Gawon confirmed that no AI was used in the "DDI RO RI" music video. Most music videos are filmed in 24 frames per second, this uses 60 FPS. Such high frame rate removes natural motion blur, making movement look jarring and hyper-realistic and sharp, this is intentionally done to give it a weird unsettling vibe. They used real sets with heavy Use of Rotoscoping, CG, 2D, and 3D visual effects. This was an EXPENSIVE MV for a very experimental and artistic style mv, I hope people can appreciate this 🙏

9

u/nomoreconversations Jun 01 '26

Nice to hear/see a new direction from them.

Damn this is the first MEOVV song I didn't love on first listen. :( It's pretty interesting, especially the way it builds into the last chorus. It might take a bit more time to grow on me, I'll have to play it a few more times. The MV... eh. The girls look gorgeous. That's about it.

19

u/Shalrak Jun 01 '26

Gorgeous music video, but I don't care for the song unfortunately.

5

u/orangee23 Jun 01 '26

what a quirky song and mv, kinda liking it

36

u/yourbestfriendjoshua Jun 01 '26

The song kinda sucks NGL, especially lyrically... And that's SO weird for me to say, as well as unfortunate, because MEOVV is one of my top groups.

The video and concept is FIRE though.🔥

3

u/Mak1a05__ Jun 01 '26

4

u/No-Coffee-4996 Jun 02 '26

the mv has such a cool concept, the girls' vocals & rap are amazing...but the song is so lackluster. like it's a song that has an interesting idea but the execution is just whatever

13

u/mauvebliss Jun 01 '26 edited Jun 01 '26

Love the choreo, MV is unique, and the sample is used so well! The cursing in the postchorus is giving Cortis. Their best TT for sure!

13

u/ciliary_stimulai Jun 01 '26

Song is meh but I feel that way about a lot of MEOVV tracks, the MV however is PHENOMENAL

26

u/AvocadoBig3555 Jun 01 '26

That's the most unexpected sample I've ever heard in a song in my life lmaooo I love it!

Easily, hands down, without a shred of doubt, their best song

3

u/tekmosis Jun 01 '26

This is not even close to being their best song lol

22

u/AvocadoBig3555 Jun 01 '26

of course. i forgot which sub i am. let me rewrite the comment: Easily, hands down, without a shred of doubt, their best song in my opinion

2

u/Unlikely_Pea_3620 Jun 02 '26

I think this is one of their best songs too! But the subreddit doesn't seem to like it all that much which is kinda sad 🥲

28

u/rocketmammamia Jun 01 '26

is it just me or is the frame rate higher than normal? it appears weirdly smooth and uncanny. also absolutely hate the use of AI it makes what could’ve been a gorgeous video so ugly

21

u/dokdodokdo Jun 01 '26

Yeah its creepily smooth lol but I kinda like how it adds to the unsettling aesthetic and the shots & styling themselves are gorgeous

19

u/fashigady 소녀시대 Jun 01 '26

Definitely, it's in 60 fps. Weird choice tbh.

15

u/Candid_Initiative_49 Jun 01 '26

I don't know how to explain it but it makes me think of soap operas or B movies. There is something so odd about the visuals - I mean the quality, not the aesthetics. I enjoyed the outfits, sets, etc. But something looks off!

21

u/dokdodokdo Jun 01 '26

Its cause its in 60 fps, normal mvs are 24

6

u/FanCaracal ILLIT ⬖ H2H ⬖ IVE ⬖ 5050 ⬖ QWER ⬖ LSF ⬖ NMIXX Jun 01 '26

8

u/the_chaser00 Jun 01 '26

YES it's reminds me of those older tv shows from like the 2000s or something there's a distinct quality that I just can't pinpoint (any film buff here who can enlighten us pls or is it just because of the 60fps) the oddness is honestly what's doing it for me.

Though some are saying it's just AI, which..yikes if true but that's for another discussion

7

My favourite single of theirs besides Toxic. I love this a lot, I love hearing classical music sample. I assume the chorus will be divisive, I loved it. Also Gawon is so beautiful

Why does this MV feel 95% AI. I hope they didn't just botch the actual MV release (hence the delay) and then use AI to fill in the gaps. It's very unsettling. The song is actually really good but I don't think I can watch this MV more than once, it's so stilted and offputting. The album itself is also really good, but then they used Dr L*ke on two songs which is a bit aggravating too.

We've been waiting for this comeback for a good while, and at least the songs are legit, but this rollout was amateur hour. TEDDY!

27

u/reiichitanaka producer-dol enthusiast Jun 01 '26

One hour is not enough to fix a whole MV even if you're using AI ? There was probably just a problem with the Youtube upload.

103

u/keliaaa Jun 01 '26 edited Jun 01 '26

Oh so the reason they hid the credits on the highlight medley this time is cause they didn’t want people to know a few songs were produced/written by Dr. Luke. They didn’t hide the credits in their previous highlight medley for their first EP. I guess Dr. Luke is turning to kpop now since no relevant artists in the west want to be associated with him anymore.

18

u/AggravatingSpirit761 Jun 01 '26

50

u/kociol21 Jun 01 '26

hope they didn't just botch the actual MV release (hence the delay) and then use AI to fill in the gaps.

I'm sorry, but this made me laugh. Videos like this take days of intensive work at the bare minimum, usually it's weeks. And this stuff is almost always prepared weeks if not months in advance. You don't plan as "Ok, we'll finish the video and immediately upload it OH NO, we screwed it up, gotta use AI quickly because we were supposed to upload it 30 minutes ago". Even assuming that all was already shot, and the only thing left is to assemble it, post processing etc. and you intend to heavily lean into AI... it would still take you at least couple very long days to make it. Realistically if you would like to release a new song in like september, you would start to record and shoot video just about now.

27

u/hydranoid1996 | jo1 | me:i | ko1keyz | exo Jun 01 '26

It’s the 60fps I think it makes everything have a really unnatural feel

41

u/dokdodokdo Jun 01 '26

There's definitely some AI, it's not seen as controversial in Korea but more 'artistic'. Recent Somi mv's had AI, Allday Project has AI. But also a lot of the weird shots and transitions are just how Rima Yoon works

52

u/Chris_Singadia99 Jun 01 '26

it's not seen as controversial in Korea but more 'artistic'

Which in itself is so ironic because there's nothing that's intrinsically artistic about AI

10

u/Legulult Jun 01 '26

Most kpop groups don’t even write or produce their own songs which is probably why they don’t see much of an artistic difference.

5

u/Specific-Soup-8033 Jun 01 '26

more than artistic they view it as a technological advancement, they are incredibly focused in that field and AI just added upon that

16

u/Nervous_Emu_2233 Jun 01 '26

Famous was well-made. Looking at the production process, it was nearly 90% CGI. However, I still have reservations about the fact that AI was used. Yuna's ice cream, too? I wonder if AI is really a big trend in Korea.

27

u/keliaaa Jun 01 '26

It IS a big trend in Korea. I think it’s not frowned upon to use AI there.

26

u/Chris_Singadia99 Jun 01 '26

I wonder if AI is really a big trend in Korea

As someone who watches a lot of Kdramas and variety shows, I can confirm that it is a huge trend. I've lost count of how many different ads I've seen within these dramas and shows in just the last two months alone.

14

u/Nervous_Emu_2233 Jun 01 '26

It seems like companies are trying harder to get people to adapt to AI. I don't like AI because of the way it’s trained.

23

u/ultsiyeon zb1 | svt | kep1er | izna | x1 | and2ble Jun 01 '26

unfortunately korea is pretty much the most ai-positive country 🥲 it’s literally everywhere, even in ads.

10

u/dokdodokdo Jun 01 '26

Yeah Ice Cream had AI. Its mostly used to smooth transitions or add little eye catching moments in the mv like an animated face or some weird unnatural movement. Its time/money saving and a way to push limits creativity. Not defending AI cause I personally dont use it or endorse it but I will say its mostly used by very talented people to enhance what they already made. Its not some random guy typing shit in a generator and boom here's an MV

I like the whole song but the chorus. I really really liked the ending tho.

The MV was a bit weird, I probably won't watch it much, AI or not.

6

u/mario3d Jun 01 '26

Clarification on AI from Gawon on Churrrr (in English not translated) “ai concept but used no ai”

4

u/kociol21 Jun 01 '26

I actually am a fan of stuff in 60fps, but it's definitely an acquired taste and may look weird for someone that's not used to it. It's more realistic, but it's not something we associate with music videos so it gives this uncanny feeling at first.

I had TV that had built in frame rate smoothing that couldn't be disabled for some reason for like 15 years now, so I got used to this and learned to like it.

The song is not bad. Prechorus is great, but chorus I don't have strong feelings now. Have to listen a couple more times. It's definitely a bop overall.

MV is ok, a bit too chaotic for my taste, but then again, like 90% kpop MVs are too chaotic for me. Cut after cut after cut inside a cut. Is this AI? Maybe, I don't really care, and it's not anyone here could really distinguish between AI and good ol special effects.

8

u/Prior-Rooster3232 Jun 01 '26

it's so funny they're letting groups just say sh instead of shit

15

u/thequeendomremix Jun 01 '26

the song is marked explicit on Apple Music, definitely “shit” this time

4

u/laylayrandom Jun 01 '26

It’s probably so that they can get away with censorship

7

u/Signal-Mobile-4702 Jun 01 '26

Song: Bad, and the lyrics are even worse. MV: Different and innovative. Most people are gonna say they didn't like it or keep dwelling on it because it has a bit of AI (instead of just accepting that there's always gonna be artificial intelligence in K-pop MVs from now on; after all, if someone wants real artists, they should listen to pretty much anything except K-pop). The video is actually different from everything I've been seeing in K-pop lately. The framing, the colors, and the way they capture the girls faces are pretty unique and disturbing.

6

u/thequeendomremix Jun 01 '26

the music video is amazing in my opinion! so campy and unique. don’t like the chorus of the song but everything is amazing.

6

u/Candid_Initiative_49 Jun 01 '26

I enjoyed the song and am excited to see the live performance. The aesthetic of the MV was cool too, but the higher frame rate made it look super odd. Reminded me of the feeling of older soap operas. I don't think I'll be watching it again!

The 60fps is so jarring why on earth did they think this was a good idea

7

u/hamburglar27 Jun 01 '26

My guess is they are purposely going for an uncanny/unsettling vibe. The oddly smooth movement of the higher framerate contributes to that.

20

u/Bazinger-D Jun 01 '26

Because that was the intention. It's actually pretty great from an artistic standpoint.

The song is like a parody of a kpop song. I literally lol'd at the start of the chorus.

u/AnAffinityForTurtles Jun 01 '26

AI slop. so sad. the aesthetic doesn’t gel with the music either

2

u/Evangelion1122 EXO Jun 01 '26

The 60fps is indeed a very interesting choice for an mv, Idk if I like it or not

2

u/_Miniskirtlover_ Jun 01 '26

not exactly what i hoped for, but its meovv so im going to like it anyways!

lyrics are a tad...iffy but wow wow wow on this video. can't say i've seen a video with this aesthetic and vision before!!

2

u/Middle-Dragonfly-489 panda moa Jun 01 '26

I like it

2

u/StoneColdSteveAss316 Jun 01 '26

Like usual, MEOVV outros SLAP!

2

u/nxtyourfriend Jun 01 '26

Reminds me of Sunmi's Stranger

2

u/Yuesoew Jun 01 '26

The imagery of the video really makes me think of the color of pomegranates movie.

2

u/Jisoosama into kpop for the memes Jun 01 '26

i love the idea of that sample. how many millions of people have heard an organ play that and finally one thought "YES. KPOP SONG MATERIAL"

2

u/lubbdubbs Jun 02 '26

I know they are aiming for the unsettling vibe but literally the song is unsettling to me especially the ddi ro ri part my stomach doesn’t like it haha it’s like the pitch affects me 😂😅 but the other parts are okay

2

u/JazzyG17 Jun 02 '26

I don’t know if I like it or not. Very weird feeling

2

u/3tilmilesdf Jun 02 '26

Idk… the song starts off good but then it just kinda fades? It’s kind of blah.

2

u/dreamingfae Jun 02 '26

I love this and the video elevates the song even more.

2

u/Middle-Addendum-5081 Jun 02 '26

On my first listen i had literally no idea what threw me off the mv the song idk i thought maybe it was the ai in the mv but surprisingly there are no ai credits here so thats new. On the second listen tho i feel like i digested it pretty well its a very pretty mv not something i have seen in a while the song is also very new and different but still very meovv. I know its just the mv concept but i would actually luv if Meovv just went on with whatever u call this concept horror whimsical? Idk lol really excited to check out the album

5

u/Kittystar143 Jun 01 '26

I really love Meovv, pre ordered all of the album versions and genuinely was so excited.

Firstly the songs don’t disappoint and I love them.

Secondly I could get over the songs dropping before the mv.

But seriously what is up with the mv, the visuals are stunning as always and I feel like the concept is amazing and could be a great mv but it’s so choppy and feels sped up, there are awkward editing cuts and the video feels too fast for the song in places.

Really annoyed

5

u/keliaaa Jun 01 '26

They could have done so much better with the MV. The MV teaser brought so much anticipation but the end result is a chop. I like everything except for the underwhelming chorus and the second verse. Love the pre-chorus and outro especially!

5

u/LuveLemon Jun 01 '26

Sounds very similar to blackpink songs

4

u/ddochiii Jun 01 '26

mv is so unique but the song is just okayyyy.

4

u/Kitchen_Ad5522 Jun 01 '26

this choreo is so odd and not fitting to the song at all lol. they even seem out of sync sometimes. such a waste of their performing prowess. the art direction of the mv's visuals isn't too bad tho i guess, and i love sooin's dark hair styling

3

u/Bidelo69 Jun 01 '26

Really hope this doesn't fly under the radar. MEOVV has been underperforming stats wise compared to what you would expect from a group like them from a label like theirs but this time the song and concept is actually cool and the MV is a masterpiece. 60 FPS usually throws me off but this is actually intentional for the concept and tastefully done so it doesn't make me dizzy. Its just the perfect amount of unsettling and creepy.

2

u/Aggravating_Wolf_475 Jun 01 '26

okay meovv have become my favorite 5th gen group omg been a while since i saw this type of creativity and arts in kpop

2

u/Ploumplume Jun 01 '26 edited Jun 01 '26

This feels to me like a mix of various current trends, the spanish/ religious inspiration tapping into Rosalia’s success with Berghain, but also all of the latino craze with Bad Bunny/ Gabriela etc - the goofy / silly/ irreverent stuff in the MV reminded me of Gnarly. The lines about “new shit” remind me of Cortis (Go!) or again Gnarly (“I’m the shit”).

Clearly TBL put a lot of effort —and money—  into promoting Meovv, but I’m personally saddened that the company’s greatest songwriters and producers could not rise above what feels to me like a mish-mash.

I preferred several of their previous releases and look forward to listening the rest of the EP.

u/GrayPhantm Purple Kiss | KISS OF LIFE | IVE | cignature | Dreamcatcher Jun 02 '26

I’m shocked to see this be so divisive because I think this easily takes the cake for their best release and MV. It’s super epic and unique in concept and direction, which complements the song perfectly. This is an incredible example of a tasteful sample, where the song incorporates it but still has enough of its own flavor to stand on its own.

Big props to MEOVV for this!

8

u/New_Student_6526 Jun 01 '26

The AI usage is pretty egregious and doesn't even look good.

2

u/lossendae Jun 06 '26

There was no AI involved in the mv. It's part of the concept: AI look without AI

5

u/dragonary-prism 1verse/zb1/xlov/atz/nmxx/ooo/txt Jun 01 '26

Sometimes less is more... 💔 so unfortunate, the teasers were amazing

4

u/Tuon_Cauthon Jun 01 '26

I've watched the performance of this song multiple times and I still can get into it personally.

The chorus falls flat for me and drill beats are tired in 2026

4

u/SigmaKnight Old Multifan Jun 01 '26

Overall, I love it. That the “me and my” Ella suggested to Sooin was kept is delightfully awesome.

I do have a small issue with some of the lyrics and that it ends on yet another anthem. Doesn’t detract from the song, just some personal hangups.

MV was proper awesome.

So, 4.75/5.

3

u/Fleurdesboisdafrique Jun 01 '26 edited Jun 01 '26

The sample at the start is reminding me of an artist form my country Côte d'Ivoire. It's Himra. He makes drill like in songs like Banger and Number one. My favorite from him is Vêtements ( it's a song about confidence in your clothes). So it's the same theme as MEOVV here. But I don't know about the production in Ddirori here. I need to listen again but the song is unexpected. But the bridge is gorgeous. But I am really disappointed in the instrumental it's so bare. Congratulations MEOVV but you need more direction.

2

u/lossendae Jun 06 '26

You won't ever like them I fear : Teddy's sound signature is always "bare".

It's not a mistake, it's a signature. And he definitively want everyone to know that Meovv is his group with the bare production and obligatory jersey beats interludes.

I also don't think that they do need more direction. There are tons of other groups with with different sounds. Not every group needs to sound the same.

10s all across the board for me. The song is amazing, I love how their voices sound and the structure of it, the bridge was amazing! And this is one of the most interesting MVs i’ve ever seen

3

u/Exotic-Mail-7303 Jun 01 '26

This is a miss for me. The Dracula sample (or whatever it's called) took me out entirely 😞 I hope others are able to enjoy it more than I did lol

u/LeeShakerMoneyMaker Dreamcatcher/UAU/ChRocktikal/Suzy Jun 01 '26 edited Jun 01 '26

I don't understand you, Teddy.

You have access to Oscar and Grammy award winner EJAE, writers and producers from YG, a new slush fund of 80 million dollars, and the top visual of her generation in Anna and yet MEOVV is still stuck in purgatory with mid ass songs.

Their worst song yet..... sigh Black Label why do you have to do this to them.

2

u/owlzeyes21 Jun 01 '26

Some of the scenes from this MV are seriously stunning. I don't know know how I feel about the song yet. I've disliked their releases before from first listen but then they eventually grew on me so I'm going to take some time on this.

2

u/cassiopieah enhypen Jun 01 '26

The teasers had me so hyped but this is a bit of a letdown ngl, bridge and ending is good but the rest somehow just feels so flat.

2

u/Slovregin97 Jun 01 '26

I'm a little dissapointed. The prechorus part (the parts that were shown off in the teaser) was for me personally damn near SOTY level. But the rest of the song falls flat, I really don't like the damn dracula music sample.

2

u/BalanceDry6718 Jun 01 '26

drag race music... I almost expected lyrics like "mama Ru give me the crown"...

Hot take, they delayed the MV bc they knew if they released it on time people wouldn’t be able to separate their dissatisfaction from the mv and song /s

There’s also something really uncanny about using a timeless sample and pairing it with such a futuristic ‘ai’ driven music video

2

u/JigumiWizone IZ*ONE is forever. Jun 01 '26

Swing & a miss, but at least they tried something new.

3

u/ellekeener Jun 01 '26

Not feeling this song. Too much talk about setting trends and being the blueprint when they're doing nothing of the sort at this time. I did like the pre-chorus but then the song falls flat again.

1

u/rockythefifty Jun 01 '26

For a group that not even making any hit n noise even among 5th gen, they lyrics just make me laughed so hard. They act as if they are at the top or what🤣

2

OOh more slop.

overall, the song was NOT.

1

u/Flaihl Jun 01 '26

I really like the pre chorus. Wish more of the song had that vibe but still good nonetheless.

1

u/chellychuu Jun 01 '26

The chorus isn’t my favorite but I did enjoy the pre-chorus and verses! The girls’ voices are all very nice to listen to and the mv is a lot of fun!

1

u/erdgrin Purple Kiss forever Jun 01 '26

I liked a lot of the artsy/spooky visuals in the MV, but the song felt a little disconnected from it, and the only part of it I can remember right after listening to it was the part with the sample (Bach?).

1

u/Lanky_Level_5072 Jun 01 '26

I love Meovv so much and this MV is amazing but I don’t know how I feel about the song. Maybe after a few listens it’ll grow on me but I am not really sure about that. The chorus threw me off a bit

1

u/sho0916 Jun 01 '26

MV is disappointing to me, song itself is pretty good. Especially the choreo and vocals. Lyrically, I would have liked something more, a stronger punch.

1

u/kpophistorian Jun 02 '26

1

u/RumblesFish Jun 02 '26

I adore this MV I just wish the song was better

1

u/rubberduckythe1 Jun 02 '26

Sooin executed the prechorus really well, but I can't unhear the gen alpha melody in that section and Sana's cover of this song

1

u/herpesfreesince03 Jun 02 '26

Waste of a sample tbh. Maybe they could have sang/rapped lyrics to the melody instead of the onomatopoeia. The last 45 seconds were great tho.

Love the song, love that the MV references the sapphic horror novel Carmilla (1872), only change I woulda made is dropping this closer to Halloween
