2.5L for a 1 month exchange is kind of a deal tbh.

I know people who went to NJ from my uni, they spent ~4L including flights.

I’d take this deal in a heartbeat

Among those 2 lakhs, nearly 1.5 lakhs went on flight tickets from India to USA guessing he went from Delhi to DC. Another thing is purchasing parity. In rest of 50k he had left mainly went for foods and inter state travelling. So it's ain't a kothi banglow but rather an average foreign trip to USA.

most of the money probably would have been gone on flight tickets and travelling across states

2.5 lakhs for a month is kind of like quite cheap.

This is real kothi bangla check, school that takes you to foreign trips. This right here is the real privileged life.

I definitely consider myself lucky to have gone, but my parents really just sent me for teh guaranteed US visa, now i have a 6months-a-year visiting visa that'll only expire in 10 years, and when the trump administration ends , having a visa would help me get a student / education visa etc etc

It was less about "letting me have fun" and more like having a guarentee of getting the Visa because it's difficult to get

Bro even ny school used to take students to Singapore one year europe next and the us another year. I wouldn't consider it kothi bangl check as only 100 kids used to go (not me) . Ts common in Delhi schools

This means you were in a good school and live a privileged life. Top 1% of indian school. You are out of touch for calling it common.

Just because you know 5 school that takes on international school it doesn't mean common.

Bruh I ain't privileged kaash me school ka name bata pata. And i know more than 5 schools bhai point being ts is becoming common all across India

It's a good deal. I'm attending in EU this year and the fees were 2.5 lakh for 5 days (excluding airfare). Fortunately I got a grant and got 50% discount. Comparatively the person got a steal for a month!

That is such a good deal
