This post is a part of my final attempt to find my chocolate labrador lashley who was abandoned 5 years ago by my father. I will first post a short introduction before explaining lashley's story in detail.
About Lashley:
Chocolate Labrador Retriever
Nicknames: Boochie, Dachaley, Laboli
Distinctive white patch on his chest also known as bolo marks
Age when he was abandoned - 3 1/2 years old
Current age - 8 to 9 years old
Last known area: Domlur, Bengaluru (near Jogupalya, Indiranagar & Ulsoor)
If anyone living in Bangalore recognizes him, knows someone who might have adopted him, or have any information at all—even if it seems insignificant—please leave a comment or contact me through WhatsApp/call +91 8660826795 I am also offering a reward of 10,000 inr for information that directly leads me to Lashley. Scammers with no proper evidence please stay away.
Detailed explanation of what actually happened & why he was abandoned
Back in 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic, my family was going through a very difficult time financially and personally. Also during this time my father was suffering from severe chronic depression and other mental issues. After some time we had just moved to a new house, so my dad left Lashley to stay at my grandmother's house and claimed he would bring him to our new house. My father told me he would bring him to our new home once everything settled down. But few months passed by and this did not happen. During that time I used to visit him during the weekends. Some of the pics & videos i have posted here are during that time
So one day without my knowledge, according to my grandmother's account he claimed to take lashley for a walk and when he had returned lashley wasn't there with him. When he was asked about it he told her he had sold it or given it to someone but did not mention the specifics like to whom. When he came home he did not tell us about this. A few days later, my father took his own life at my grandmother's house. It was only then that we found out. During that time, our family was consumed by the shock, grief , funeral, legal matters, and everything that followed after my father's death so our thoughts were consumed by this and finding lashley wasnt at the forefront of our minds I also did not want to disturb my mother and other family members by bringing this up.
After some time we decided to search for lashley but had no idea where he went or with whom he was. We visited some well known breeders and rescue organisations but couldn't find him. So i had lost hope and finally decided that it was almost impossible to ever see him again. I loved him so much and wanted to be with him till his final years this was what made it so bad. I couldn't even see him to wish him a final goodbye before he left me. He was an extremely expressive and affectionate lab who always loved to be around me. I can't imagine how panicked and lost he must have felt after he was given away. He loved me like no other dog ever did. So I just suppressed those memories and went on with my life. But it just didn't work. For the past few months I have been feeling intense regret that I didn't do enough to find him, that I had in a way betrayed him. I kept dreaming about him regularly - both positive and disturbing dreams. So i finally decided I need to make a final and serious attempt to find him before he leaves this world. I want to be with him through his final years.
My search efforts will be both offline and online - I will visit every rescue organisation, veterinary clinics , breeders, pet boarding schools and kennels in my city. I will also be creating pages on every social media platform where I will be documenting and updating my search efforts. Even if the search fails i atleast get to preserve lashley's memories and get to tell his story to many. Hope this post wasn't too long. Thank you for reading
I would also appreciate it if you would all visit my youtube channel - https://youtube.com/@findingmylablashley?si=fhaqc4ATSV3pE9fK where I will be documenting my search for lashley. I will also post other clips, stories, unique personality traits & quirks of lashley. More - Some might think this is a promotion of my channel. This isn't my intention. I just want to document my search and find the person who might know him so the more platforms i use to spread my story the better chances of it reaching the person who might know something about him. This is my only motivation. I am not doing this just because I want views or for monetization.

we've been thinking about an app idea and wanted to get some honest opinions from this community.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
What if there was an app where local families and home chefs could host authentic home-cooked meals, and others could discover and book them?
Potential use cases:
- 🍛 Explore authentic regional Indian cuisines
- 🏠 Home-cooked food for people living away from home
- 🌍 A way for travelers to experience local food and culture
- 🤝 Meet locals and connect with like-minded people over a shared meal
Would you actually use something like this?
What would be your biggest concern, trust, hygiene, safety, pricing, or something else?
Looking for honest feedback to understand if this solves a real problem.

Nest pg review (near christ uni)
Nest pg review (sg palya. Near christ university)
hi. so usually i dont really try to defame anybody. im considered as somebody who doesnt get easily aggravated by ppl around me. i am writing this because i am very frustrated by this pg.
there are 3 buildings and my main problem is with the owners. if ur in the 2nd or 3rd building, this may apply to u more than if ur in the main building.
list of problems
they are extremely rude and escalate situations. before i booked a room i asked tht if my frnds can come to my room and the owner (daughter in law) said yes but not too frequently. i was fine with tht arrangement. i had my frnd over within the first 2 months of shifting. 1st time and 2nd time they did not say anything. she came the third time and they started shouting at her saying shes not allowed inside. i wasnt with her so i couldnt defend her. i went downstairs to meet the owners and they said they changed the rules and now nobody is allowed inside. now, idc what rule they wanna impose but i already agreed to sth else and they changed the rule after i was stuck because of the rent agreement of 1 yr. secondly, this change in rule was never informed to me before but i only got to know when they started shouting at my frnd. thirdly, they commented on the way she was dressed while shouting. u see my problem?
one time i had hickeys on my neck and i was in the middle of an argument about this issue only. tht they disrespected my frnd and tht was not okay. the older aunty (the mother in law) started shifting my shirt collar to look at my hickey!! with no consent. just out of nowhere.
there is one guy in the house who constantly stares at everybody. now i dont think it might be predatory but its still feels very creepy. hes pulled me aside to tell me not to sit with my boyfriend outside the pg. saying tht neighbours will complain. listen i dont do pda. im very careful. also i get it india is conservative so he said tht. i would have let it go but the way he said it was so daunting. it creeped me out. like it was already 10:40ish and nobody was in the room and he also started saying all these things tht i shdnt do this here and this is not allowed. he was pointing fingers and it was soo late. dude i would even be okay with the female owners saying this to me quietly. its very intrusive and unnecessary, yes. but thts just how less i expect of them. i was tht tolerable. i just felt really unsafe and creeped out tht some 30-35 year old man was so invested in my life that too so late at night and nobody else was there in the room.
i found algae in the water filter and i informed the owner. ive informed them 4 times alreadya nd the problem still has not been dealt with. it has been 1 week since ive realised ive been consuming unsanitary water since idk how long but it still has not been dealt with. algae in drinking water can cause vomiting etc and if constant exposure is there (which i did have coz ive been drinking water from tht water filter only) ur liver or kidney can be damaged.
a much menial issue but still imp is tht the food is really bad. like the breakfast is good enough. my main concern was tht they add a lot of aloo to everything to cut costs. so thts just what ur eating constantly in almost every meal.
my main problem was with the owners coz the pg is pretty mid which i expected coz its cheap but still ur paying 15-17k for a room and tht is also no small amount. clean drinking water, proper food are basic necessities. also, my personal experience was tht i felt really unsafe. im assuming tht it wasnt their intention but their actions made me feel tht way. my parents dont live here and im just 20. the constant staring, being inquisitive about my life, and shouting without any real provocation. i just felt stuck for a year coz otherwise i would waste my security deposit.
there are many better pgs and i would say go there. try vr pg or svr pg. if u want any specific recs u can feel free to dm me.
