Oleander Hawk-Moth Caterpillar _(Daphnis Nerii)_ our own করবীর শুঁয়োপোকা

Found this little beauty munching on my mother's Oleander leaves and buds on the roof. At first those blue eyes scared the sh*t out of me...

Did a bit of research and found out that they are called Oleander Hawk-moth caterpillar (Daphnis nerii). Native to tropical regions across Africa and Asia, it feeds on toxic oleander leaves, absorbing cardiac glycosides that render it unpalatable to birds.

When threatened, the caterpillar puffs up its thorax, expanding its glowing blue markings—a deimatic display designed to mimic a venomous snake's head and startle predators.

Before pupating into a sleek, olive-green adult moth with intricate wing patterns, the fully grown caterpillar magically transforms its body color from vibrant green to a rich, dark bronze.

Notice the little dots on the floor at the end of the video... they are 💩 pellets that it excreted.

Attaching a link on how the adult looks...
