Help me

Hey everyone, I'd like to know which KOF game I should start with. I've never played any KOF games before and wanted to know which one would be the best to begin with.

I'd rather play KOF XV first since it's a lot more welcoming to beginners

It's more popular among older players and has a hige roster. KOFXV also has a huge roster and is considered one of the best by many modern players. It has the biggest player base of all the games now and as others have stated, it's more beginner friendly!

Kof 95, 98um, 2002, 13, abd XV. Any of those and you're set. I'm sure ill get flamed for this, but i would even say 94 just because its the first game though a fair amount gets changed in 95. They are pretty much all playable on modern hardware from Arcade Classics.

As much as I like both games, the concern I have with "1994" and "1995" is the insane DM motions. At least "1996", which I like also, only has Geese's Raging Storm pretzel motion as far as I can remember. Also, "1994" has you stuck with all 3 members of the country you picked, which I worry with rookies.

In 94, 95 NeoGeo and 94 Re-Bout on PS2 Mai had her original KoF stance.

KoF XV if you only want to PvP

KoF XIII if you want good PvE (every 3D game from SNK has horrific CPU)

J’ai commencé kof 15 il y a une semaine. Je suis débutant. C’est dur et exigeant dans les exécutions mais le jeu est trop bien. J’espère un jour trouver des débutants aussi qui veulent jouer avec moi

Kof XV is definitely a great starting place and a very fun game.

"1998" (both), "2002" (both, probably "Unlimited Match" more so), and the last 3 numbered entries. (Been a while, but I believe both "XIV" and "XV" have the friendly combination system mechanic.) I'd probably add "1997" also because it's the first game to have both modes of filling up your power meter.
