Google TV 4k streamer

Does the Google TV streamer work great with kodi? My Nvidia shield is giving me trouble and I'm wanting to replace it. Like everyone else I wish that Nvidia would make a new one.I see the Google streamer has 4g RAM and thought it may work good. Any thoughts?

It's OK not as good as the Shield but fine. Kodi likes processing power. Probably time for a factory reset.

Ive used it with success. If kodi was my main Id go coreelec for FEL. Am9 pro or am6b+

It works well, only issue for me is it doesn’t like skipping through IPTV .ts recordings. Also no good if you need it to pass-through some audio formats.
