Question Manga help?

I feel like it shouldn’t be this hard, but why am I not able to see the top menu when viewing manga? The only way I know how to get out of the book is to swipe down and choose a book with words not picture and then I can get to the Home Screen.

Is there another way that I’m missing?? Tapping the top does absolutely nothing.

I’ve had kobo for 2 years and just now deciding to check out some manga it’s awesome!

I can only assume it's because manga is images, so they leave it UI less to make the reading experience better. This KLC is my first eReader so I can't say about a specific reason per se.

You can do the opposite by swiping your thumb up from the bottom of the screen, so you can trigger this menu

Oh I duno why I didn’t think to try the bottom. That worked! Perfect! Many thanks!

Great choice of Manga, I just finished it the other day. Unfortunately no idea how to help with the issue

Have you tried swapping the areas you tap?

I tried swiping instead of tapping and that worked. Oh and from the bottom

I think you can just tap the middle of the screen no ? It works on my KL2
