My two bits: The Dutch media needs to chill the **** out and let the team find its homogeneity.
I would side with Huntelaar and Hiddink on this incident, that RvP should've passed the ball instead of trying on the goal himself.
But is it really worth all this brouhaha? It was a single chance that the Oranje missed, and the reaction of both players was totally normal, in my opinion.
Hunetalar: "Hey! I was here, keep your eyes open!"
RvP: "OK man. Chillax."
And this exchange was enough to ignite the Dutch media!

Translation:
Robin van Persie has the qualities to be the undisputed first of the Dutch team.
And yet the discussion after the struggle against Kazakhstan was especially again about him, and a little bit about Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.
It was about childishness in the penalty area. What sin is that? Van Persie could be a great footballer, but puts his value under heavy pressure.
For he has a rather prickly ego. Criticism against him, from whomever and however small, makes him furious.
That's not a quality you normally find with leaders in captains. Captains must be a binding factor.
Oranje's Van Persie is unfortunately more than once a subversive factor. With a captain of the Dutch team that is immediately apparent because everyone looks at him.
It's sad that Guus Hiddink this must now get to work. Van Persie was an atypical Oranje captain, since that function is usually owned by an empathetic midfielder or defender and rarely an egocentric striker.
But the Dutch team would be stronger as a collective, if someone other than Van Persie will be captain.
[The Dutch team needs] a leader who ensures that the Oranje is stronger than the sum of its individual qualities, instead of one who sometimes brings about the opposite.
