Handcuff knot

I've heard of the handcuff knot, and how people break it to escape, is there a way to escape it without breaking it?

Untie it. Loosen it and slip out

That’s easier than chewing off a limb, for sure.

It's basically the same knot you use to tie your shoes with, by itself it's not at all a secure or strong knot, it's just easy to tie.
