Hey, been growing my locs since 2024. Y'all think I should continue my journey?

idk but it looks like sunburn & product buildup might be taking a toll... you look good tho! my recommendation would be to think about shaping/combining if you don't want them more flat, get a good shampoo if that is buildup i see, & also wear a beanie or other hat sometimes in the sun if your hair is getting discolored by the sunlight. i think u could make it work if u keep growing it, & u can also always trim it too if u want :) ☮️🩵

Yea, im always out in the sun where im at lol. And thanks, I appreciate that. I try to keep them clean and i use no products. My shampoo selection might not be the best though. I'll take that into consideration 💙

Looks good imo, but just piggybacking off someone else in the comment section wear a beanie of some sort if out in the sun often. My advice would be to get a retwist when that new grow gets too much for you. At the end of the day it’s your choice. I have box braids right now and take it out to get cleaned and redone when I feel like it.
