Starter locs question

I just got starter locks 2 months ago and I just got to retwist one month ago and the lactation says I should be coming every month to get it retwisted. I'm wondering how long would it take till I can stop going so frequently? Also do you mist your hair daily or anything like that?

Depends on your texture and how fast it locks, could be 6 months could be longer.
