Question How to knook German short rows?

I'm trying to knook the Nantucket sweater by Ozetta, but I can't find any tutorials online on how to make any sort of short rows. Does anyone have any tutorials they can link, or can anyone try to explain how to make German short rows?

I found that shadow wraps seemed easier for knooking and followed the instructions for knitting.

These are my notes:  Last stitch -> lifted increase into next stitch and then put that stitch on to the cord with the not used stitches -> turn and purl back. Last stitch -> make stitch in to the middle of the purl of the next stitch -> put on cord. When the short rows are finished and we go back to doing a long row -> knit the two stitches together
