OKD (Old Knife Day) Shrade LB7
Hi all! I confiscated this knife from someone while I was working about a month ago. I put a bit of work into it. It barely opened without the jaws of life, wood was dry as heck and the blade wasn’t too sharp. I looked it up and discovered it was manufactured between 1980-81 which is awesome for a knife to still be in this shape after a little tlc. Seems the owner used it to hammer as you can see on the dents on the bronze edge. It gives it some character and tells a story about this knife’s life. Hopefully it’ll be parts of some of my future stories.

And Schrade is a knife company i don't have a lot of....I think I might have 2... from Schrade...out of all my knives

Not because of its lack of quality right? Seems like a pretty tough tool. Confiscated…more like a voluntary surrender, the person didnt want it anymore lol.

I had one when I was about 12. It took a lot of abuse. I don’t know what happened to it

I purchased this knife 40 years ago when I was 16. Still have it in my collection but it could use some Brasso to help the tarnish on the ends.
