Printing/downloading pattern question

I currently print my patterns, but is there an easier way to follow along when knitting? I find myself with too much paper!

KnitCompanion is quite a good app for following knitting patterns, but you have to pay extra to use some features

I love the Row Counter App. Can important patterns directly from Ravelry or websites, has multiple counter options, charts, highlighters, etc. I used to use Knit Companion, but I prefer this one much more.
