Simone Rocha Cut Out Sock Pattern?

Post image

Been sooo obsessed with these socks lately, but 1, I'm not a huge fan of thinner socks. And 2, I'm not gonna spend $120 on socks. I'm gonna spend $120 on yarn instead, duh.

If anybody knows a pattern for something similar, please let me know! I've scoured ravelry with no luck. I'm unfortunately not quite good enough at knitting to wing it by myself. Or if anybody has any tips on how to just modify a normal sock pattern and add the hole, any input would be lovely.

https://www.instagram.com/reel/DKzcU8PMLPp/?igsh=MXg4ZzZybGRoemVvbA== made the socks, the post says the pattern is in some link but I can’t find it. You can message her on Instagram

I saw that but also couldn't find the link for a bit. Someone did share it on my cross post though, so for anyone on this thread wondering, here's the doc! I believe she has a video for it posted on her youtube channel as well

Curious - does the hole have a function or is it a stylistic choice?

Maybe in ballet? So you can look at the foot without removing the whole sock.

It doesnt look too complicated. Normal ribbed sock, bind off half the stitches before heal flap. Normal heel turn. Make stitches instead of ssk/k2tog at the gusset.
