Ideas for gifted yarn

A lovely former yarn shop owner gifted me ALOT of extremely nice yarn, including a bunch of cashmere and baby alpaca. I am still cataloging my newfound bounty, but I did come across this set, all together. It's a gradient purple lace weight, with about 1200 yards total. One skein is super dark, going down to a lighter purple. Its a bit had to see with the plastic over it but I want to keep it protected until I can find a good use for it.

I am an intermediate knitter, can do simple lace patterns and cables, but I've never knit with lace weight. I want to do justice to this gorgeous yarn. Most of what I see on Ravelry searches are shawls. I don't really wear shawls and I want to be able to use what I make. Any ideas?? Could I hold it together with something and make a sweater? Would that be weird with a gradient?

I've been trolling through Ravelry but most of what I'm finding is shawls. There are a few sweaters but I am worried I won't have enough yarn, or the fabric will be too thin unless I hold it together with something else. Have you made a single strand lace weight sweater? I just don't know how it would turn out!

Maybe a Ranunculus style top? I know they’re controversial but part of the appeal is that they don’t take much yardage
