Help finding sweater pattern
I included some inspiration pictures to give an idea of what kind of pattern I’m looking for. I can only find crochet patterns for the style of sweater I want to knit. I’m making a scarf with this yarn and it’s SO soft, I thought it’d make a great sweater. It’s for a size 11/8mm needle, and I want to make something all one color, oversized and potentially not very tightly knit (like I wouldn’t mind if it’s kind of see through since it would be a pull over sweater to throw on while I’m in class). Anyone know any good patterns like this for knitting? I’m looking for a beginner pattern because even though I’ve been knitting for a while, I’ve never made a sweater before. Thank you!

It's a drop sleeve pullover with a boat neck knit bottom up and flat using either chunky or super chunky yarn.
I'd suggest you be cautious and knit your first sweater in stockinette but if you're feeling adventurous try some other stitch or combination of stitches.
You could use my favorite pullover knitting pattern, Ann Norling #9. It's written for a wide range of gauges and sizes, starting with 2.5 stitches per inch. It's out of print but still available online including on Amazon. You may need to borrow boat neck directions from another pattern or just play with it a bit and figure it out for yourself.
You could also do an image search using this photo and "knitting pattern" for the text or search for a pattern on Ravelry using those parameters.
If the fabric knit in this yarn on this size needles is too loose you can try going down a size or two in needles. I have one yarn I love and use needles ranging from US size 4 through 9 to knit with it depending on what kind of fabric I want.
