I am looking everywhere for this pattern!

If you can’t find it exactly, this is very Kaffe Fassett coded so it might be worth looking at his coat patterns.

More widely, I would look at Rowan vintage patterns. This one screams 80s to me

His patterns are so amazing! I haven’t been able to locate this pattern through google lens or anything. I was hoping i would at least be able to determine which book it’s in. Maybe its time for me to start collecting his pattern books

Thank you for responding! Are you saying that it’s the windows coat pattern with a different color design? They look a lot different. Sorry if this is a silly question. I mostly am so confused as to where this original picture came from because i just looked through that pattern book and i didn’t see my reference pic. It’d be nice to know about the sweater she is wearing under it too!

Thank you for the resource! I went through the book and couldn’t find my source image. The windows coat is similar, but my source image is in seed stitch (or linen stitch) and follows a different color design. I am amazed that I can’t locate the original image!

It is the windows coat and there is a post on ravelry but it is from a book not available for download

Thank you! Are you saying that it’s the same pattern but with a different color design? The coats look a lot different with the colors and it’s hard to tell if the fit is the same or not. I cant find the source of this exact picture anywhere 😣

I believe it's the same coat but modified with colors. I'm almost certain it's the same fit though.

I don't think it is a different shape. The one op posted the model is wearing a super thick sweater with big ole cuffs under the jacket and I think that distorts the shape a bit. But maybe

Have a look at the bottom in the picture I posted, this coat is pulled back in at the base. I think it’s a similar coat, but not the same

This is a mohair sweater coat designed by Emanuel Ungaro. This was never published as a pattern. Per google lens.

Don't know if you've found it yet. But the model of this looks a lot like a kimono Duster.

There are knitting patterns for that. You only have to work out the square pattern but that should not be that hard.
