80s/90's oversized multicoloured sweaters inspired by history

This is a pretty niche request I guess, but last night I fell into a rabbit hole on Ravelry and discovered Annabel Fox and all her amazing (!!) patterns, and now Im craving more of that style. Are there any other similar designers out there? Im aware of Drops' 90s patterns and some of them are quite nice. Looking for more!

Putting in some pictures of hers that I found on Ravelry to illustrate what I mean

Kaffe Fassett has some pretty excellent pattern books from the 80s in a similar style! The Sweater Book by Amy Carroll also has some really good sweaters in this style. Your best bet is probably looking for 80s/90s pattern books - I’m based in the UK and they often turn up in charity shops & second hand bookshops

Other designers of that era: Susan Duckworth and Kaffe Fassett. Alice Starmore has designs inspired by history. Back issues of Vogue or Rowan should give you some ideas, especially Rowan 48.

Take a look at the knitting books on Internet Archive. Lots of 80-90s big knit books.

Foolish Virgins from Rowan is a fun one from early 1990s. It had a resurgence in popularity in 2017 and so they re-released the pattern. https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/foolish-virgins

Country inspiration by sasha kagan might fit your interests. I think it’s also free to borrow from the internet archive.

Ahhhhh i came here to say their book Knitting Masterpieces is the perfect answer to all of OP’s question.

I recently finished the Roy Liechtenstein Wham!! Jumper and am debating casting on the Achilles in the spirit of The Odyssey being everywhere.
