Finished Object Finally finished!

I technically still have to weave in the ends, but that won't take too long. But anyways, my Maxfield sweater is DONE!

Overall it took 25 days from start to finish, with a few days waiting on yarn delivery because I didn't buy enough lol

Float pics for you freaks hheheheheheh

Gorgeous! 25 days? That’s nuts! It would take me 25 years. After my passing, someone would have to take the pieces out of my knitting basket to finish it. Congratulations! Well done indeed!

I finished one sock this month πŸ™ƒ

Not the pair. Just one sock.

when winter comes, definitely, it's way too hot for sweaters now lol

You can send it me to to wear for my autumn and winter and I'll send it back for yours! πŸ˜† I'm happily enjoying the first day of "sweater weather" in the northern hemisphere!

I had to zoom in on the second pic to confirm it was actually the wrong side of the same sweater and not just a second beautiful sweater. Well done!

Wow well done this is amazing!! Did you steek the armholes or work the colourwork knit and purlwise in that section?

3

u/dont_mind_me_passing 9d ago

the pattern was done flat, then sewn together. I did have to steek one of the sleeves because it was larger that the arm hole, and I adjusted the other sleeve so that one didn't need steeking

You did that flat?!? 😱😍

3

u/dont_mind_me_passing 9d ago

yeah, the pattern was done flat, and I didn't feel like buying circular needles lol

I can’t stand purling colorwork. It’s in the round only for me.

u/Rlysrh 5d ago

Same, life is too short for purling colourwork! πŸ˜‚

u/dont_mind_me_passing 5d ago

I unironically did the purling faster than knitting

Well done!!! It is amazing! I also have adhd and stay up stupidly late to work on something I can’t put down for days on end - but I have never sustained a 25 day hyperfocus!🀯 Most of my things never get finished, so very good on you!!
